In the canon universe (not ul), Maalum has a great journey to find his place and role in the circle of life. He started as an orphan and grew up to help Kion and Rani at the Tree of Life. I'll might rewrite and update it, but you can read what I have for now (https://inkbunny.net/s/2196605).

About Mufasa's poster, I love it a lot. About the movie... I'm not sure yet. I have a mix of emotions. Sure, the CGI looks better than the remake's and the story is very interesting. But I still think it's weird that Mufasa and Scar are not real brothers. Plus, I still prefer the classic animation or even TLG's.
