I don't think the thumb nail is bad. The spelling is correct and it's supposed to look kinda old and rustic, since this is a post apocalyptic world.

Blender's a great program, I'm just not that good with it. Art is skill, a master artist could make something beautiful from cheap school pencils, where a novice might not make anything good even with the best art tools and pcs money can buy.
