Ouch! That's a party fracture that the leader had better work on splinting ASAP before it causes a complete break. Especially since those are the team members that should be working as the ranged attacks to help distract the enemy from the frontline tanks.

Hmm, I think the party breakdown is Nigel is the early-warning system, Tristan is recon/intelligence, Chili is party support/healer, Leo is melee tank and Mira supposed to be ranged attack (with the 'life-fire'), but she got too close in this case.

Meaning in a battle you only have two damage dealers in a party of 5. Both Nigel and Tristan are completely useless in a battle, and Chili apparently can't heal during combat either. Not exactly a well-rounded party that.

I would have to say that Tristan is almost completely useless currently. Judging by the daggers he has on a previous page id say that he might be able to contribute as a surgical striker at some point. Although that is probably a long ways off if at all. He does strike me as somewhat of a pacifist currently but that may change in the future.

I get the feeling that once Nigel gets over himself he may be able to slide into some sort of crowd control role because of his unique awareness. sometimes combat value does not require dealing damage.

To be entirely fair, what were Tristan's little rogue knives gonna do against a giant bear?
Little rogue knives are great for hamstringing an opponent or tendon cuts on vulnerable joints. He might be able to work up to critical groin strikes, but right now he doesn't have the speed or skill to manage any of those attacks without getting hit in return.

Honestly? I hope so. Imho, he didn't deserve that, and the retribution will come to the Goddess for what she did to Nigel. It is my hope that Nigel will become the one destined to save them all. And personally I hope Leo gets grievously injured here, to the point he cannot use his axe for a good long while or indeed do anything for himself. That, and being forced to rely on the aid of the others should teach him some humility and compassion
