Just some quick vent art. I've seen a lot of online comics recently that have villain characters that A. get redemptions for things like genocide, B. aren't actually the villain, but is a complete a** hole to everyone around them, and everyone still loves them like their innocent, C. are the most morally corrupt characters, but are still lusted after like their kill count doesn't matter. Meanwhile, the victims hardly get a second glance. I just don't get it.

I figured if any of my ocs would be affected by this kind of thing, it would be Daphne; so here she is being mad about it.

Normally, it is society that corrupts the characters. None of them are born bad, but they turn to the dark side due to various circumstances that are usually beyond their control. Not everyone can have Batman's resilience and we identify with their pain and traumas and we know that if life had not treated them that way, they would not have done what they did. The fact that we see society paying for its own mistakes is something else.

(By the way, my waifu Daphne always looks beautifully perfect.)

I felt the same way about a lot of things. That crap " comic " I'm not starfire was one of them.
