Making my return with an adorable fankid! I was inspired by this cute adopt character on Twitter, and a friend offered to help me make something loosely based off of it.
Aspen was birthed by Bark, who became impregnated by Shadow during a hard rut. Since neither was really ready to be a father full-time, the majority of care was performed by a village on North Island. Shadow and Bark would stop in time to time, the former mostly concerned about his biology growing up.
However, things would change after Aspen was attacked and almost kidnapped by rogue GUN agents, who were simply on duty to monitor him. Aspen was saved by former commander Abraham Tower, who had just retired, but heard about the plot and followed his agents in secret.
This event left Aspen with an injury that causes his right leg to incur swelling at frequent times and leaves him with a distrust of all humans except for Tower, but it prompted Tower, Bark, and Shadow to oversee him more thoroughly.
With Shadow and Bark's help, he was able to learn about his powers and train them, while Tower showed him GUN's training regimen so he could better protect himself.
Now as an adult, Aspen works as a woodworker for the village, and has blossomed a romance with Tower.
