Part One
The Find
BEEP BEEP BEEP the sound of the alarm clock going off rang in my ears reaching an arm out from under the covers I fumbled around till my hand found the clock and shut it off ``way now I was having a nice dream'' I say in a groggy voice ``come on Bell we need to get some food and report to the sub deck for our shift `` came my brother Leon's voice tossing the covers off I slowly got up ``okay okay I'm up'' I say getting ut of the bottom bunk as I go to the wash room splashing some cold water on my face to wake up looing at myself in the mirror I tied my dark blue hair into a short pony tail before pulling on my jump suite it was standard issue dark blue with some silver trim on it moments later Leon and I make it to the mess hall and grabbed our food it was Friday so prime rib and eggs were on tap for the breakfast as we eat my pip started beeping holding up my left arm I saw that an e-mail was sent to my inbox placing my thumb on the small track pad I hovered the curser on the inbox and taped it twice and the e-mail opened
Looking at the header I saw it was from Ruse Governor Negan's deputy ``oh boy what does Ruse want?'' I say scrolling down and my eyes go wide ``oh well well looks like we have our search spot we have grid S17 to S18 and they even fixed up our two F-11 powered dive suits as well'' I say as two big bags are placed on the table in front of Leon and I looking up we were both met with the site of a tall gray/silver bunny in a chef's outfit ``hi my boys here's the food for your shift breakfast's lunch's and dinner's and don't think I forgot you two have a birthday in three days'' she says ``Stew you always spoil us'' I say as Stew pulls out a pin and paper ``okay now I know you two like chocolate cake with wiped cream frosting with vanilla custard right?'' Stew asked as we both nod ``good now for the dinner I will surprise you now get your cute butts in gear before your late'' she says as Leon and I headed out taking our food bags with us
Moments later we made it to the sub deck the large space was once one of the large cargo bays of the Goliath class Cargo haler Paradise it was once the main stay cargo ship of Galar before the darkness took the world of Galar walking up to the cranes we made our way o slip number AA22 that held our sub a classic X11T deep sea sub one of the prides of Galar's Silver Star ship rights as we neared the sub a short otter came up to Leon and I ``hi Bell Hi Leon heard you two were going out gave the girl a once over everything is all set cam's are replaced full cells all set and was able to get you some extra full cells for her as well'' he says as I hug him ``thanks Roo you always take good care of us `` I say as we both hug Roo as we broke the hug and headed to our sub a new voice called out to us ``wait a sec boys'' the new voice called out as we both turned we saw our mother Harmony flanked by two droids Zee our teacher and Huyang our weapons teacher she was holding a large box as the three made thire way over to us ``oh good I made it in time'' she says and holds the box out to us ``here you are an little early birthday gift'' she says as Leon and I started to unwrap the box getting to the cardboard box we undid the string and opend it up my heart skiped a beat as I saw what was inside
Reaching in I pulled out a chrome plated F-123 holo tape player boom box I look up at my mom ``mom how did you find this only place I saw this was at the trading post here on the ship'' I say as she smiles ``lets just say the trading post manager and I worked out a dell'' she says as Leon pulls out a blue chrome plated laptop terminal as he hands me a stack of holo tap's tied with pink string as the over head PA system buzzes ``come on you two time is money'' I look up at the PA speaker `` okay mom we need to go see you in three days'' I say as she gives us a warm hug and heads off as Leon and I entered our sub
Two days later bobbing my head to a song being played over our radio as I worked on cutting away a big piece of coral away from the hull of a crashed sky ship I appeared to be an old Arcadia Jumper ship as I worked my suits radar gave a ping looking to my left I saw the blip I saw it was a big hermit crab turning I held the cutter up high and rived it up a few times spooking the crab away going back to work a bit later I felt a tap on the armored shoulder of my suite turning I saw Leon in his own suite ``come on brother head on back I can take over get something to eat'' he says and I nod ``only if you come in with me you have been working just as hard as me'' I say as we both start to walk back to the lowered
gondola stepping on we placed our cutting tools in a basket and hit a button as we headed back up to our sub entering the air lock the water drained and we walked to the rack's and opened the back of our suits and clamed out fanning myself ``oh man we need to get the air cooler's fixed on this suit I'm broiling in there'' I say as Leon comes over pinching his nose ``AHH yeah you stink to the high heavens Bell go and get showered before you stink up the whole sub'' he says as I head off to the showers ``oh and like you haven't already Mr. I rather read then take a bath tell mom tosses me into the bath tub book and all'' I say as I hear a book hit the door as it lowers into place a bit later after a nice warm shower and making my way to the galley to the scent of something tasty being cooked ``wow whatever that is Leon it smells tasty'' I say as i push a button and a table and booth come down from the wall as Leon comes over with two full plates of food
later on I sat in the lounge going over some paper work that was sent over by our coded fax getting up I went over to our subs terminal powering it up tapping a few key's to bring up a chart of coral highs currents ``okay so its going to be flowing at 20 knots from the south starting at 6 am then slowing down after 3 pm to only 3 knots looking up at the map chart I saw our meeting spot with the recovery barge was close to a coral cove tapping a few more keys I sent that data to the brig so Leon can set a cores getting up and shutting the terminal down and making my way to the bridge and seeing Leon at the nave computer typing in the numbers before pushing the green button locking it in ``okay were all set the jump ship is tied on and were under way we should get there by 7 pm we will surface and wait till the recovery ship meets up with us'' he says as I head to our shard room and laying down on the bottom bunk
the next day we sat on the surface in the small cove Shine my female Pikachu sat on my right shoulder as Jenny and Yuri my female Eevee and herm Pichu sat on my lap getting pets and treats ``piiiiiiiii come on ware are they those guys are so slow'' Shine says as Jenny looks up ``relax Shine were getting some fresh air and maybe Bell can take us exploring on the beach'' Jenny says as Yuri cheers ``yeah that sounds like fun'' I hear as I get up ``okay you three I get it but yeah your right it will be nice'' I say as I lean over the top hatch ``hay Leon I'm heading to the beach and see if I can get a better view to spot the recovery ship'' I say ``okay Bell just be careful `` he says as I head out to the beach
The sand was soft and cool as Shine Jenny and Yuri ran on the sand and splashed in the water as I walked up a small hill getting to a good spot I took out my binoculars and started to scan the ocean screeching for the recovery ship but with no luck putting the binoculars away I just stood on the hill the breeze from the sea was nice as Shine came up to me the others had gone back to the sub I bent down and picked Shine up as I stood back up the sound of voice's from a beach over grown with plant life getting closer the voice's became clear ``hehe hay Luca look what I found '' came a female voice ``oh wow it's so pretty Alucia you're the best big sister ever'' came a younger male voice as I drew closer moving some plant life aside my heart skipped a beat
My site was meet with two young Reizakirga a smaller male and a midsized female the two water/land dragons were playing in the shallow water by the beach I could not believe my luck reaching into my pocket I fished out my camera turning off the flash and sound I took a few picture's of the two of them playing I was getting ready to leave when a strange blue fluffy plant fell in front of me cutting off my view reaching off I moved it aside it was very soft almost like a long braid of hair it even smelled nice like a mix of lavender and jasmine finding it odd I got my camera back out and was about to snap a picture of it when ``hehe oh my that won't do way don't you join us in the light little one'' a voice from just above me calls out and i looking up and see a very tall maybe even full grown female Reizakirga
The female Reizakirga looked down at me with soft magenta eyes and a kind smile on her face as her lower body moves out of the way and a very large paw leads me to the beach Shine looks on in amazement as the younger Reizakirga comes over her body was a light gray with bright pink patch's on her two long tendrils on either side of her face as well as a long thick tendril on the back of her head as well as a short thick one from her forehead with some pink framing her short ears her eyes were a lighter pink with a hint of magenta in them ``well hello its nice to meet the one who was piloting that very cool sub its from Galar right?'' she asked and I nodded ``yeah my brother and I run that sub oh and yeah were both from Galar'' I say and she nods and giggles ``well its nice to meet you Mr. Captain I'm Alucia this is my little brother Lucia and my mother Sara'' she says nodding her head to the older Reizakirga who giggles as the younger one floats up to me looking me over before nuzzling my cheek before gasping ``oh your ears are all pointy'' he says as Sara leans over to him ``Now Now Luca you know that if someone has ears like that then what are they?'' she asks
Luca was thinking for a few moments ``oh he's an Elf right?'' Luca asks and Sara and I nod ``well I'm not a full elf yet `` I say as all three of them look at me ``yet?'' Sara says as I blush ``well I don't have my family's magic mark yet'' I say as Sara and Alucia nod ``well that sounds pretty cool so tell me Mr Captain do you have a name?'' Alucia asks and I blush ``oh right I forgot to tell you all my name ``I'm Bell Winterfell and my brother's name is Leon Winterfell'' I say as Sara and Lucia giggle ``oh my such cute names'' Sara says as Lucia comes over and hugs me ``ohhhhhh that must be so cool working under the waves with your brother you two must be so close'' she says and I giggle as I hug her back after a bit my Pip started to buzz ``Bell are you there?'' came Leon's voice as the three Reizakirga crowed around me as I hold the Pip up ``yeah Leon I'm here what's up?'' I say as Luca looks at the device ``oh wow that is so cool do you have any games on it?'' he says as Sara tells him hush as Leon comes back on ``well I just got off the radio with the recovery ship looks like they won't be getting to us till tonight because of some engine trouble but I swore I heard the sounds of them partying in the background sounds'' he says as I cures under my breath ``yeah that sounds about right for them well if that's the case then were going to be staying put for the time being'' I say as I look at my three new friends then back at my Pip ``say brother I made some new friends do you want to meet them?''
Later that night the four of us well make that seven of us lounged on the sandy beach of the cove a nice fire going as Leon grills up some fish provided by Sara and Alucia as Luca and I worked on making some wrapping bread in a skillet to say that Leon's jaw was on the floor when he saw me show up with three Reizakirga in tow would have been an understatement the smell of grilling fish and lobster tails was intoxicating but soon we were eating everything was so tasty we all eat like kings and queens that night
Later on the recovery ship finally showed up a little after night fall and took the jump ship onboard we signed some paper work as later on about nine forty five the recovery ship was on its way back to Paradise as I claimed down the latter back into the sub I heard Leon let out a cures from the radio room ``are you kidding me Talon Ruse just so happened to stop by and tell you he had a new place for use to look at?'' I hear him say as the sub went silent before a beep came from my Pip as the words ``new nave data received'' flashed on screen as I plugged my Pip into the nave computer
Hitting a few key's the nave data started to download as Leon came out of the radio room and looked at me ``I take it you heard?'' I nodded ``yeah sounds like were missing our birthday again'' I say and give Leon a hug as Alucia came over and added herself into the hug after a bit the down load was complete looking at the screen I was shocked ``what there sending us out there?'' I say tapping a key overlaying a map over the chart looking closely Alucia gasps ``oh my there sending you to the glow coral riffs that is a really pretty place'' she says as I look at her ``I will have to take your word for it Alucia but hers the issue'' I say tapping a new key as a new map over lays the chart one part was green the other was blue with red strips over it ``you see this part in green this is Paradise's territory'' I say then point to the blue part ``this is Arcadia's turf'' I say as Sara comes over and looks at the chart then back at Alucia with a smile before turning to me ``Bell mind if I barrow your radio room?'' she asked and I nodded
Later on I sat in the brig as our cores was set taking the last few bits of the sandwich I had made hearing a yawn from my right I turned and saw Alucia in her human form leaning on the wall she was a little taller than me pretty green eyes her pink and blue hair reached to her shoulders she was warring a simple blue one piece swimsuit that hugged her body very well and showed off all she had I did my best not to stare at her as I tapped a few keys before turning the lights down ``okay Alucia bed time'' I say as the two of us to the bunk room I was so sleepy I forgot she was with me and started to take my clothing off I was down to my underwear when I hear Alucia let out a purr ``wow didn't know you wore panties Bell'' she says as I blush ``well um...it was all I had left''
The next day I woke up feeling that somehow both Sara and Alucia had joined me in my bunk as I tread to sneak out of bed two pairs of eyes flutter open and look at me ``morning little prince'' Sara says as Alucia giggles ``hehe but I'm thinking he may be a princess with those cute girly sounds he was making last night'' she says as I blush ``i..i......I don't make girly sounds when I sleep'' I say as the two girls giggle a bit later we all sat in the dinning room of the Cosmic a mega yacht owned by Ezekial a mate of Sara's and father to Luca he was tall in his human form with short white/black hair his skin was a light tan showing he spent lots of time in the sun
Ezekial sat with Leon and I ``okay so from what my lo vely Sara has told me you two are on a salvage job and you hale from the Paradise right?'' he asked and I nodded ``yes that's right our boss Talon who works Rose but they all work for Negan he's the one who runs Paradise'' I say as I told him how Negan trapped us and others with a false money lending trapping us in to working for him to pay off the money and he made sure we can never get out from under his thumb taking on new charges to our money lone Ezekial took it all in not saying much as I told him everything I saw a flash of magic in his eyes as I told him how our mother Harmony was working in housekeeping to help pay off the money
After the meal we meet up with Sara's older son Sora who showed up with a large barge with lifting cranes along with a bottom that can open so we can just park our sub and unload the stuff we find I look over at Sara her large dragon form smiled at me ``how did you all pull this off?'' I ask as she smiles at me ``easy your our friends and that means your family we do all we can to help family'' she says and I hug her my arms barely reaching even haft way around her body as she nuzzles my cheek
The next day things started in earnest Sora set out in a small tender craft equipped with a scanner array on the bottom of the hull as he went around if the array found anything he would mark it and Leon and I would go and cheek it out we didn't find much a few cargo containers one held a Mana Generator in it one held some machinery in it one even held two FX-11 Flutter Sprits small pleasure sky craft powered by two pusher style mana drive engines with a ten foot wing span the pilot stood at the controls they were armed with twin light mana energy blasters that also attached as the landing skid's
That was how the first two days went day three was went things started to go south for us as we eat on the Cosmic Ezekial came into the dinning deck and informed us that a storm was on its way and it was a bad one winds blowing at 50 MPH from the south with 30 to 50 foot waves Ezekial had suggested that we make for one of the close by islands to take shelter looking at my manifest I saw that were we are running low on food and other stuff on the sub then I look up at Ezekial ``Ezekial take the ships and take shelter at the island Leon and I are going to stay and keep looking'' I say as Ezekial's shocked look told me he did not like this plan ``are you crazy Bell you heard the report the seas and the weather are going to turn into a maelstrom out there'' he says as I look at him `` I know that but my brother and I have no chose if we don't bring something big back to Paradise there going to sell our sub'' I say as Ezekial Sara Alucia and Sora have wide eyes at my words
Later that day Leon was out in his dive suite as I stayed on the sub keeping an eye on things and oh boy things were not looking good visibility was slowly going down as the storm up above was getting worse an underwater current wave hit the sub hard knocking me off balance as a feel a pair of soft paws grab hold of me keeping me up right looking up I see Alucia in her dragon form ``careful Bell things are getting really bad our there'' she says and I nod ``yeah your right I'm going to call Leon back and we can go to that coral cave you found and we can hold out there till the storm passes'' I say picking up the radio ``Leon come on brother time to come back were going to the coral cave'' I say as Leon radio's back ``okay I'm on my way back up I found some more salvage we can looking over after we get to the cave''
Later that night the three of us sat in the subs mess hall eating a meal of fish chips and hush puppies something I was very good at cooking it was easy to tell that it was a big hit we all eat like kings and queens that night later I stood on the bridge of the sub looking outside was flying and swirling about looking like a snow sand storm under water reaching up I flipped a switch turning the forward lights off plunging the view into darkness as I walked to the nav computer I looked over to a small panel monitor showing a view outside pushing a button to change view's as the last view came up Alucia came onto the bridge in her human form her shoulder length pink and blue hair tied in a short pony tail she even had one of my baggy t-shirts on as a night shirt as something catch's my eye on the rear facing camera
As Alucia came over to see what I had seen ``did you find something bell?'' when I didn't answer her she looked over my shoulder ``what's out thire Bell?'' she asked as I looked more closely at the screen then I saw it a quick glint of something just outside of the cams range ``I'm not sure Alucia but its in the back of the cave.....'' I say trailing off before I turn to her ``I'm going to head out and have a look'' I say as Alucia's eyes go wide as I made my way to the hatch climbing into my dive suite ``Bell are you crazy you don't know what that glint was for all we know it could of just been a glint off some sand `` she says as the back of the suite closes up stepping away from the rack and twords the hatch ``its okay Alucia I will be right back ``
Moments later I was outside the sub making my way to the back of the sub ``are yu sure you know what your doing Bell?'' came a voice next to me ``you worry too much Orion'' I say reaching the back of the sub turning my head lamps on and looking around not seeing much but the cave walls as I look I saw what looked to be a ledge ``okay Alucia I found a ledge I'm going to go and have a look'' I say floating up and landing softly walking forward I saw what looked to be a metal trunk at the back of the cave ``okay found its some kind of a metal trunk'' I say using my suits power I picked it up and made my way back to the sub as I placed the trunk down in the airlock and pushed it into the sub I saw some kind of creature it looked almost like a manta ray as I looked I saw that someone was riding on its back she had gray skin with green/red eyes and oh boy who ever this is was female she had on some kind of green and black suit on her lower body and arms as I watched as manta and rider glided over the sub I saw what looked like a pair of legs sticking out clse to the lond tail that had some kind of blade at the end
As I watch mesmerized by the site Alucia was almost screaming at my over the com's ``bell get your ass back inside'' she says and I look up as the one riding on the manta's back jumps off and a blue and black rider slips free from a slit on the underside of the manta and were floating down to the cat walk of the sub landing with little sound before I know it Alucia came out of the cub in her dragon form at full size a loud growl from deep in Alucia's throat ``get away from him'' she says in a deadly tone as the blue and black female stands in front of the gray female she was holding two sea snake looking creatures both were rigged I saw a glint like they were as hard as a blade I had to stop this before it led to blood shed
Dashing forward I set my self be twin the two party's ``hay hold on now is not the time to be fighting we have a big ass storm brewing out there and we have no clue for how long this is going to last `` I say as Alucia looks down at me as her eyes soften the blue and black female's eyes also softened as her two sea snakes went soft and coiled around her arms and she steps back as the gray haired one steps forward ``now we can all stay in this cave tell the weather clears we will stay in the sub and you two can stay out here....okay?'' I say as the gray haired one nods and I nod as well turning to go back into the sub ``Wait came a soft female voice turning my head I saw the gray female step forward ``do you undertand how this works'' she says pointing at the sub and I nod ``yes I do know how it works and she nods ``good we talk after storm maybe you can help us'' she says as the two of the swim away to the back of the cave
After getting back in side and I slipped out of my dive suit Alucia all out tackled me hugging me close to her soft body ``pleas Bell never ever scare me like that again you silly elf'' she says as I free my head ``yes yes Alucia I won't scare you like that again but all I did was stop a fight from breaking out'' I say as she looks at me ``I know Bell you have a kind heart but those....things are not to be trusted'' I look up at her ``what do you I can trust them Alucia?'' I ask and she looks at me ``my...my kind we call them Sea Wolfs they have hunted my kind for a very long time we fight back but.....'' she trailed off and I hugged her tight ``its okay Alucia i..i have a good feeling from those two I think their friendly''
The next morning the seas were clam and clear as glass as I wake up I find Alucia hugging me from behind my head resting on her very soft chest moving a little she hugged me closer and sleepy mumbled ``stay in bed Bell breakfast is already served'' she says half asleep as I move up a bit her pretty eyes flutter open ``mmmm morning bell whets for breakfast?'' she says sleepily and I cant help but chuckle ``hehe well it sounded like you were for breakfast'' I say as Alucia's eyes go wide as tea scourers and her cheeks going as pink as the skin of her dragon form she covers her face and lets out a cue little eep as she move to leave I reach out and hug her and she hugs me back we stay like that for a bit just laying down holding each other before we get up and go to the mess room to eat
After we all eat some of Leon's cooking I went out to find our new sea wolf friends but they were no ware to be found looking outside the cave and nope no ware to be found coming back into the sub Alucia looks at me as I shack my head ``yeah I had a feeling they were going to leave you can never trust a sea wolf'' she says as I get out of my dive suite and head to the cockpit and move the sub out of the cave our radio comes to life as Sara's voice comes over ``yeah we har you Sara were just fine how are you guys doing?'' I ask as Sara recounts last night's storm but everyone was okay and they were under way to our last search spot
After a bit we saw the search spot come into view it was just over a rise in the sea floor must have been from a meteor impeached as we crested the rise the view we saw was amazing the creator looked deep but what had us transfixed was what lay at the center a large silvery object moving the sub forward we got closer I reached up and flipped on the forward lights as the light played a crossed the object I let out a gasp at the same time that Leon did the same I looked at him ``is.....is that what I think it is Leon?'' I say all Leon does is nod his head as Alucia come over ``yeah I say it is'' I say as Alucia looks at me ``what is it Bell?'' she asked as I look at her ``that Alucia is a House Theed Sky Barge from our home world of Galar'' I say as she too lets out a gasp
