When this birdy boasts he was “Popular with the ladies, even at a young age” he may be loose on the details on why he was popular, or at how young of an age he began to be popular with…
Be a small bird gifted with intelligence and be so clever to win against every opponent at any board or card game trivially, and be oh so dazzling and handsome. And when this small bird gets his wish, be thrust into education so early they don’t have pants to fit anyone of such stature, and be allowed to prove himself by attending a school only attended by the smartest and cleverest of birds, surely then everyone would see my magnificent worth?
As it turned out even if you’re a better player on the tabletop that doesn’t necessary translate to games played during recess, and the games the much taller schoolgirls just so happened to love playing was dress up the “Cute baby birdy!” with the occasional "Parade the baby around the school grounds in a stroller."
Alas, the lesson learned early was there’s only so much you can do to escape a role you are dressed to perform, and honestly with the amount of attention I was getting I *obviously* did a very good job of it. Frankly I did such a good job the other children would most certainly have been jealous too.
