Oh wow, this is really amazing! A lesson in not messing with treasure that's now claimed by the sea~
I love her feet clawing on the sandy/muddy floor, you get a real sense of the effort she's putting in trying to claw herself away from the trap, only further emphasised by that sheer wolf-grit expression of determination. Her snorkel tossed aside in the thrashing action, with those bubbles escaping her mouth it means time is rapidly running out. Even if she managed to yank her tail free from the chest, she might have enough air to even swim to the surface depending how far down deep she is. The cruel googles meant she gets a good picture view of the light above, the air she so desperately needs.
I adore one-piece swimsuits, and a struggling cub in one is sublime. When she pulled on her one-piece swimsuit and waded into the ocean, there wouldn't have been a doubt in her mind that she'd never return. The thrashing and scream in her final moments entirely muffled by the ocean.
Did she swim out alone? Or is by the shore her friends or family resting, unaware of of her peril?
