This is a concept art of Juniper's maternal grandfather. Like his son Edwin, he was a blacksmith like his ancestors are quite talented when it comes to crafting certain weapons such as like spellswords. Like the Ebonywoods, he and his wife were murdered by Lancelot when Juniper was still an infant about 3 months old.

I can imagine Aaron and Edwin had a father and son bond together crafting weapons and stuff. Even a pretty ring.
