Adventure Time too a while to get used to. At first I was like whut? But once you get to know the wackyness it is rather fun. Regular Show was also a slow start but it has some funny episodes. I think I've said on the sketch post of this picture but will say again, these cartoons are the ones that seem to be the return of good quality stuff to the realm of family friendly TV animation. Gumball is somewhere in my top 5 (I'm not a fan of playing favorites and not very good at making good lists of my absolute favorite things, plus how much of a cartoon geek I am that's saying a lot), Adventure time is probably in top 10 and is generally epic, and regular show is very sweet especially when you think about the fact that the plot structure of most/all of the episodes are similar to tex avery cartoons (taking a concept and building it up and up to the most ridiculous point possible). I can get nostalgic about the cartoons of my childhood as much as the next person, but I'm not blind to modern day quality either, I'd dare say these cartoons might be better than most of the ones from the 90's and we need more like them.
