I think there will be a time that such a thing has to be decided. The new generations of children picked also something up of Pokémon, but the ones who have a warmer heart for Pokémon are the ones who played / watched the franchise in the beginning.

Agreed. And I still have a "nice heart" to Pokemon and even though they aren't real...I still feel a love between me and the little pixels. But, at the same time, it'd be a refresher to see something unlike the games...Even a Pokemon Stadium or Pokemon Snap again...
