Background/History
Kyali has had to protect her life from dangerous traders who would seek to steal the power from her Burganite gems since they matured. Hailing from the small village of Demaya, she fled when the trading town was invaded by X Squads and lost her family in the siege.
She eventually found sanctuary with the Stonegate terracasters, falling in love with Lukas, a young apprentice caster and long-term civil rights campaigner.
