Its structural perfection is matched only by its hostility.
And its desire for popcorn. Better share those snacks, guys!
A cute little gift from Otlan of the three of us hanging out together and watching some of the best films in cinema history, with an unexpected visitor creeping up behind us...
given grace's unique ability, being captured by xenomorphs would be the literal definition of hell...regenerating only to be used again and again either as food or a host for there young...well...unless shes into that and if so well, more power to her...

I don't think we've ever been given a canon answer to this. But in the novelization of Alien, and in an early draft of the script, too, I believe, Kane's Son gets into the Nostromo's food stores and gobbles it up. The book describes tin cans peeled open like fruit and the door torn of its hinges. In the third film, the Dragon at least appears to be feeding on one of the prisoners in one brief sequence. Anyway, the prisoner is lying on the floor and the alien is bent over him doing something.
All that, and Kane wakes up very, very thirsty, suggesting the embryotic alien may have absorbed fluid from him, at least.
Then again, none of the colonists in Hadly's Hope appear to have been eaten, and most of the time they do seem more focused on either killing victims outright or dragging them off for facehugger-fodder. So there's evidence to suggest both.
As far as I'm aware, fan theory runs along the lines of: Xenomorphs don't need to eat most of the time, as their acid blood powers them similar to the fluid in a battery. But they can and do eat in times of high activity. But, again, I don't think any of that's canon.

You'd think, if anything, they'd be dragging people off to feed to they're queens. But then, if memory serves, the Xeno's were created as a sort of Biological Weapon. Not sure why, but we do know they're more then capable of wiping out an entire planet, if the initial infestation is not contained and eradicated. They like don't need to eat or sleep, which is likely why Predators see them as the perfect pray.
All theroy though, as you said, until someone gives us some definitive answers XD .

You'd think they'd have to eat something, yeah, considering they crank out eggs on an assembly line basis. Or anyway the first Acheron queen did. Even partially silicone-based parasitoids from goodness knows what corner of the galazy would surely need to take in fresh material to replace that which they're using. Then again, I kind of like that there's at least a few things that are still a mystery about the damn things. Kind of like the eggmorphing thing and whether that's something the beasties can actually do or not.

Nah. Remember, on death her body vanishes and she resurrects up to 48 hours later in an unmarked grave some considerable distance away. Unless they've infested the entire world - and in some of the old Dark Horse comics and novels, they do make it to Earth - she'd probably be all right.
