Y'know how I said I got sidetracked for a month? This lady right here is why, lol. Had a hankering to make a horror OC and a reindeer OC and decided: "You know what? Do both!" and ended up with this!
Meet the exorcist Bernadette! Or the demon Cath Einhall, depending on what form you encounter her in. While it may be looming in the shadows, the monster in the background is her true form, while the anthro reindeer in front is something she shapeshifts into for cover.
...and that's about as much detail I can reasonably cover in a single post XD Yeah I yap a ton in my other posts but we're talking MILES of worldbuilding and story stuff that, while I practically bursting at the seams to share, I would also like to refine and introduce at a reasonable pace. (mostly as an excuse to draw corresponding art huehuehuehue (`∇ ´))
But I will yap about making this!
Hardest part by far with designing her outfit, realizing REALLY fast that I A.) Had no clue what I really wanted and B.) WAAAAAAY harder to do than expected. Ended up basing the top off a band uniform I wore back in high school, after that just slapped a belt with a long skirt to help with the fact I can't draw legs, and same reason having her wear gloves (although it can only save me so much from drawing hands).
Monster form was gonna be her upper torso to her head, but when I realized that most of it would be hidden in shadow I just stick with the head. That and I'm still not entirely sure what the rest of it's gonna look, gonna do a full body once I figure that out. I know it's gonna be big and a bit lanky! Mouth tearing wasn't originally part of the design, but since her mouth extends past her disguise form's, figured it'd be a fun detail to add! Eye glow was added to help me out with the shadow coverage.
100% will adjust both designs as my skills improve, but for the time being I'm pleased with what I've got!
Expect to see her a lot around here! And yes I'm absolutely going to draw her pregnant, both in and out of monster form! (•̀⩊•́ )
