Two years ago, me and my Mexican friend discussed about Alejandro as the Tinman from Wizard of Oz about him and his motives in this version. Like asking for a Heart is because he feels empty after his daughter has left or was kidnapped after he lost his wife, and once they have returned together, he feels full , as he is back together with his beloved child!
