He is the oldest child of James Robert "Jim" Greyhound (32) and his wife Anna (neé Wolfart, 31). He is 11 years old and 4"6 tall, therefore taller than others his age. Like his old man, Gabe is a lot into motocross riding. Another one of his friends, Levi Lionheart, is too. Levi was originally born in Arizona, but then his family moved to Asheville, North Carolina, Gabe's home. Levi's grandfather Lance is the 14 minute younger twin brother of Leo Lionheart Sr., but he didn't want to be involved into the show business and left California to make a living his own way in Arizona where he started building motorhomes. His son Frank Lionheart is running the business now, and Levi, having been around cars his entire life, wanted to try something new. Frank purchased his 12-year-old son a motocross machine, but warned him to not make this a career, but instead honor Christ.

The Greyhounds on the other hand have a large tradition in fixing cars and even holding out fun races, but never as career events. Age doesn't separate them a lot however. Gabe's great grandfather Robert Edward "Bob" Greyhound (79) still goes on all kinds of excursions with his pick up truck and just laughs when people thinks he's too old. One of the supporters is his oldest son - Jim's father and Gabe's grandfather - Clinton Greyhound (57). Michael also runs the local baptist church - but makes no money from it - but that doesn't keep him from trying out anything bike or motorcycle related and if yours is broken down - no problem, he shall fix it!

His relationship to his cousins, his Uncle Wesley - his mother's two year younger brother - and his maternal grandparents Patrick and Mary is great also.

However, now Jim was ordered to try out a bike at a motocross circuit in California, which meant they'd have to move there. Not something he really liked, nor did Gabe since it meant he would have to go to 5th grade there, but then he found someone very interesting. Someone Levi told him about. His second cousin Kate, who is 10 years old and in 4th grade and just like her younger siblings, her parents and her paternal grandfather, she is known through the short lived TV show "The Lionhearts". And bang, Levi predicted something.

Gabriel and Kate are obviously way too young to be considered a couple, but at an age where boys aren't usually yet interested in girls, they both are interested in each others already.
