So. Where I play Miscre there's also a little group of PMD style former-humans wandering about, one of which is a pawmi who had some INCREDIBLE anxiety when she was human.
Miscre, being an incredibly anxious creature and no stranger to panic attacks herself, was very keenly aware of how the pawmi needed to be treated when she was afraid... and with how badly she'd been wanting to be a mother herself, it didn't take much for her to claim Skylar as her own when she found out that Skylar was only, technically, a few days old. She began to immediately tote the pawmi around, doting on her and becoming intensely protective of what she wholeheartedly regarded as her own kitten.
...pretty strange for everyone else, all more accustomed to Miscre barely speaking, having little change of expression, and usually watching quietly from the outside of a group and not participating much.
Skylar doesn't really know what to do with it most of the time, since she's not only NOT a child, she was actually OLDER than Miscre is now, when she was human... Knave just hopes having Skylar to project her maternal urges onto will distract Miscre from wanting her own egg for a while...
