Honestly even as someone who uses it myself you aren't wrong. 98% of the images I generate are garbage and at times I just say "what's the point if we can't generate complex images."

I will always hold you artists with high esteem, I just wish my wallet felt the same way

makes me wonder if there was any "dip" in quantity of commisions artists gets after AI got more widespread
Kaloyan

If there was a dip it would probably be only in the demographic of people short on money who rarely commission anyway.

It floods the site and covers up real artists. Massive dip. I barely consider using this website anymore.

Which part of AI is bad in your opinion?

The part where it's art theft on a massive scale

This is a good take on this issue.  The training data is theft.

Furry artists: They steal my art.

Furry AI models: Generates the most generic images you have ever seen. With pretty much every single picture looking the same.

Your art is most likely not stolen, because AI developers pretty much only use one single artistic source. And as long as you don't draw generic smooth, almost rubbery skinned big boobed furry ladies, your art is pretty much safe from being used.

Only one source, huh? I think the Midjourney leak might have something to say about that.

Those are not furry-related, though... I'm talking about furry artificial intelligence imagen generation here.

If you are an artist who indulges yourself in creating furry-related stuff, and you are not the type who draws generic shit, or has a generic artstyle. Then I can guarantee that your art is pretty much not being used by those who train these models.

There's a reason you and I can, 99% of the time, can say, "That's AI art." It ALWAYS looks the same, with the same boring big boobed fox/wolf ladies staring at the viewer... Or the same boring cookie cutter big headed feral cunt being pressed up against the screen..

Curse or blessing, you should laugh at the fact that those who train these AI models has horrible taste in their furry smut.

I was worried about AI in the start of Chatgpt and the first image generations, if they was got it at last right. When I learned how works under the hood, I simply don't understand how there is so much money spent on this. AI is clearly a Big Tech SCAM, where everything must have the AI label for improve a product, and they need it for generate content, and they wants everybody spent on it for get the buck and run away, before people notice is a waste of time, except for generate furry porn.  Generative imagery looks like the best form AI , but lacks like the rest of imagination or spark : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stochastic_parrot . I know artists they keep getting commissions even with this AI wave and AI creators... well , I will not spent a penny on this half baked glorified shit. I believe there no need for worry about, specially if you are a 3D animator artist.

The flood of AI on this website has already rendered it unusable, so I guess in that sense I don't have anything else to worry about.

Ai art fucking sucks, ESPECILLY furry AI models. Are they trained by using the source of one single fucking artist or something? Because pretty much all art looks the same. It's boring, boring, boring!

I can see that this was based on a Jack Chick tract.  Do you have a lot of them, or did you just get one or an image to make this?

People must see the irony right? The major criticism of AI from artists is that it "steals" content without permission. You criticise AI by modifying an existing picture that is not yours.

"I'm Jesus for standing up against the minority!"

The funny part is I doubt you got permission from Jack Chick's estate to modify his art and post it without credit.

AI art is another tool for creators to use. It can be used for good or bad. Crying about new technology and hiding in the corner isn't going to make it go away.
