Well, I don't use to draw anything related My little Pony...not because I don't like the TV show, is because I've never seen it, and...commissions are commissions, hehe. When he sent me the reference of this character (Big Mac) I liked the design so I wanted to do it.
I also love the Spike's design, he's really cute..but...I don't know how he is, for the same, that I haven't watched the show.
For a good intro to the show watch The Ticket Master. It's a great episode.

I don't overly watch the show myself but know too many who do..Spike is a baby dragon (who acts more like an adult), that is an assistant of a resident magical unicorn pony. He's also able to send messages to the ruler of the ponys by breathing fire on them (and sort of hiccups out messages in flame that were sent to him).
