Quincy helps Conner up, despite how shaken up he was. Maxwell sees the two coming out from the washroom, and notices how scared Conner is. He even noticed Conner's broken glasses and bruised face. Conner tried to explain what happened, but he was too shaken up. Maxwell understood how he felt.*
