I think this is one of my favorite comms ever. Something about the way the artist captured the character really appeals to me. I don't think any artist I have ever used does realistic animals this well. The fact that this thing was less than the price of a new AAA video game is just the cherry on top. :-)
The artist did an MLP piece before this but they were unhappy with it due to the position in which i had the character. I wanted to go a bit more conservative here to get their confidence up, and I believe it to be worth it. They know exactly what I like.
