The colour in everything within this art piece is so marvelous! I love how there are what appear to be floating flower petals with sunlight reflecting off of them and illuminating their brilliance of yellow. The grass, too, is affected by the varying degrees of sunlight striking each blade of grass in different directions. Since the flower petals are in midair, I would believe there's a soft breeze gently brushing the grass, causing the grass to quietly rustle in the wind. I don't know what the sky looks like in the picture as it's not shown. Since the Kobold appears to be in a shaded area, perhaps this is because the sky is obscured by any large trees surrounding the place, making it reasonably cool. Another great feature is how the grass blades point away from the centre of the arial view of the scene, making it look more 3-dimensional and showing the outline of the Kobold lying there.
As for the Kobold lying in the grass, they look so happy to be there enjoying the most of the tranquillity. I love the colours in their scales and how you drew their form. Their body language is truly laid back and relaxed, like a cat in the grass. Their eyes really shine full of gentle joy and peace, ready to fall blissfully asleep. It reminds me of some brief moments of hiking on the trails where I live and just being outdoors in general.
I truly love this scene! It makes me want to savour every ray of sunshine, even during fall and winter.
