Sally Acorn DX is the leader of DX Freedom Fighters, princess and future queen of the Acorn Kingdom, breeding wife of Darkspark Necrobat, and the "Light of Hope".
One year after ridding her world of Dr. Robotnik and restoring Robotropolis back to Mobotropolis as well as losing Sonic (he got teleported to Avalice), Sally feared that Snively (after escaping and hiding) will return with vengeance (and an army of bio-engineered soldiers Snively himself created).
Sally's fears are confirmed when the Necrobat Darkspark informed her that Snively is one of the deadly dark forces that destroyed Mobius VX (former home of Star Goddess Aleena) and its version of Dr. Robotnik.
Not wanting the omniverse to share the same fate as Mobius VX, Darkspark gave Sally a Star Emerald (along with a lightsaber and a red star ring-powered combat outfit) in order to combat Snively.
Sally asked Darkspark to teleport Sonic back to Mobius DX (he succeeded) in order to fight Snively.
Although she loves Sonic (her world's Sonic),Sally grew tired and weary of both his recklessness and ended her relationship with him,much to everyone's (except Sonic) shock.
(Sonic didn't care since he has Sash Lilac as his current girlfriend, but has no intention of telling Sally or ** ANYONE** about the female water dragon).
Unbeknownst to her friends, Sally secretly married Darkspark with her family's (Queen Alicia, King Nigel, Prince Elias,and Meghan Acorn's) blessings and gave birth to multiple children.
Surprisingly, Sally gained new allies in the royal hedgehog triplets (Manic, Sonia, and their brother Sonic), Mina Songoose,Melody Prower ZX, Star Goddess Aleena, and the doomsday dragon named Doomstar.
