Just a quick, silly doodle I did a while ago X'3 I'm excited to keep sharing more personal art... yay!

That day, Kara had a basketball game, and Evelyn went to watch her play. When the game ended, Kara joined her friend, and they headed to the park near Evelyn's house. Once they sat down, Evelyn took out her sketchbook and pencils and began to draw; she was particularly inspired that day. Seeing her like that, Kara decided to take out her phone to capture the moment.

Evelyn has never liked taking photos because she doesn’t think she’s very photogenic and hates how she looks in them. On the other hand, Kara loves taking pictures to capture moments since she believes memories are very important and wants to have them with her friend. Most of the time, she can’t manage it because Evelyn covers her face, but when Evelyn is distracted by something she’s passionate about, it’s easier to take photos, and Kara takes full advantage of that. Of course, afterward, Evelyn gets upset and asks her to delete the photo or at least not post it on Instagram or other social media.

Looks like she's about to job her friend in the breast with the pencil...

FYI = Certain Branch of Buddhism and other Pre-Christian religions believe that when a picture of a person is taken, a bit of their soul it taken away by the picture, making the person that much more evil. If the picture is destroyed, the part of soul is returned to their owner, restoring their soul.

Haha, exactly! It's funny you noticed that. Sometimes real photos can capture things in ways that don’t quite match reality. In this drawing, Kara caught Evelyn off guard, which is why she ended up in that pose. Moments like these often happen in real life!

Oh god... Then they both must be devils or at least imps now! Kara does this with Evelyn all the time XwX

Yes!! Haha, you have a keen eye! It's interesting how photos can sometimes give a different impression than what’s actually happening. In this case, Evelyn was caught off guard by Kara, which led to that pose XD. I'm glad you noticed! ^^

This is a lovely and heartwarming selfie-shot illustration! :3 I appreciate the sheer details you've applied to both these girl's numerous facial features. The soft reflective glow in their hair, the twinkle in their gorgeously-rendered eyes... this is just an exceptional and mega-cute burst of pure Elly-Kara joy that I fully support! Kara wears her jersey like a total baller, such a cutie! It's funny to see Elly's pencil still propped in her hand, like she can't let it go but she can't afford to be distracted either... what's a vixen to do?! ❤️ So cute!!

I also find the small back-story entry to this piece you've written into the description to be simply delightful. Your inclusion of written context in regards to your illustrated artwork makes such a profound impactful difference, in my writer's opinion. I love reading insight into the pieces you create and share here with us. It always thrills and engages me to no end!
