"Finally arrived on the surface in the lander, really excited to see all this firsthand! Of course, the maintenance on my suit isn't done yet, so I'll have to just hold my breath, but I'm at least good at that and I was too excited to wait. Does also mean I might get some weird native disease, but I'm sure the medical bay back on the ship can handle it. This'll be my first time potentially interacting with an alien!

"So, went into the airlock with just the tablet I'm recording this on, and obviously my laser pistol even though I don't want to use it. Held my breath, went outside, and... Man, everything is so surreal. The sky is pink, the "trees" are like curled up tendrils, and a lot of stuff is pretty tall, probably thanks to the fairly low gravity. Even just the fact that I have to hold my breath right now is weird, only ever had to do that in water before... But, with a 27 minute hold, I can probably check out a good bit of stuff out here in one go!

"First thing I'm getting a better look at is one of those tendril trees. They're pretty big, the smallest I've seen was about triple my height. Each of them has glowing green spots along them, and those are softer than the rest of the tree. Seems like they're filled with fluid. Wish I'd actually brought something to get samples with, ended up forgetting...

"Feeling confident enough to try out meeting one of the natives, hope it goes well...

"Seems like it went well! Found a lone creature of some kind and carefully went up to them, and they seemed just as cautious when they saw me. I have no idea what I could compare them to, but I have to describe them anyway. Six legs, eye stalks, mandibles, generally a bluish-grey body, and a pair of wings that sort of look similar to what bats have. Not including the eye stalks, the thing was a little under half my height. Didn't seem to be sapient, but it's not like I understood any noises they were making. Wish I could've found out more about them, but touching their back scared them and they flew away. Still, it was really cool!

"That one wasn't the only native here that can fly, it seems to be pretty common thanks to the low gravity. Maybe I could use artificial wings to get around here... Without oxygen, a more typical jetpack wouldn't work, and those pulse jetpacks are really expensive, so I'll see about bringing wings for next time. One of the crew on the ship does enjoy making those.

"Well, was running out of breath, so I had to go back to the lander. Definitely still had a lot of fun even without being able to breathe! Looking forward to coming back down with my suit sometime!"

Nice observation! I will admit being on a planet where you can't breathe in is a bit weird and that fact the lizard devided to just hold his breath is just the definition of crazy, i mean that planet in itself sounded odd... heh

I like designing weird things like that, the context of it being alien gives a TON of freedom!

That lizard's definitely kind of weird for choosing to hold his breath out there, but it worked out for him in the end.

(How's this?)

For two weeks now, the lizard had been stranded on an alien planet. It at least had an atmosphere, but not one he could breathe, meaning he'd have to hold his breath outside... With his breath holding record sitting at 40 minutes from all his time here, he was gradually getting better at surviving outside. As always, he took a deep breath, cycled the airlock of the lander that had become his home, and stepped outside with puffed cheeks to look for food.

(Good start)

From what he’s seen so far, the planet was filled with alien wildlife that had been looking at him curiously over the past few weeks. They had grown used to seeing him around and had even grown comfy with him, nuzzling against his legs each time he passed them by. But he hasn’t exactly seen any form of intelligent life that he could speak with yet.

Still, the lizard is happy he's managed to make friends with the wildlife of the region he's in, and glad he'd chosen to live off foraging instead of hunting when his rations had run out. Used to the planet's lower gravity by now, he easily traverses its landscape as he looks around.

It was starting to look like another average day on this alien planet, when suddenly there were some rustling heard nearby. At first, it seemed like one of the members of the wildlife that he had grown accustomed to. But they usually made some form of noise aside from rustling. Hidden from the lizard behind the bushes was actually one of the locals of the planet, who had heard about a strange creature in what was considered a forest on their planet. He wanted to see this creature for himself as his eyes peeked through.

Seeing the lizard look over in his direction, the alien quickly started to think about whether or not he should make his presence known. On the one hand, he’d be the first ever Kloen to interact with this strange being. On the other hand, this being could be dangerous and might attack him. He couldn’t figure things out just standing where he was, though, and decided to make himself known. Once he did, the lizard could see that the figure was very tall compared to him, with a yellow skin color and multiple arms and eyes and even an antenna sticking out from his forehead along with a long tail. He was also nude as he made his way over to the lizard, and reached a hand out to touch him.

"Ah! Wha-mm!" The lizard covers his mouth to not waste more of his limited air. Despite his nervousness at seeing the new creature, especially because of their size, the fact that he'd never encountered anything hostile on this planet yet gave him a bit more courage. He cautiously allows them to touch him, ready to run if they turn out to be dangerous.

He placed his hand on the lizard’s puffy cheeks, curiously rubbing them and feeling them up. It seems like the alien was just as nervous and cautious around the lizard. When he felt no resistance, he started to relax a bit and more eagerly rubbed those cute puffy cheeks of his. “Soft…” he simply said as he gave those puffy cheeks a squeeze.

The lizard thinks, "Wait, they know English? Maybe I could try talking..." Deciding to sacrifice some air to talk to the alien, the lizard looks up at them. "...Can't talk much... Gotta write instead."

The alien was surprised to hear the lizard speak, not having expected this. They were curious as to why the lizard had to write instead of talk, but they supposed that it was probably just convenient for the lizard. The alien nodded their head, giving another squeeze to those puffy cheeks. “Understood…”

The alien had six arms, and they decided to use those arms to fully explore the lizard’s body. The other four arms were gently caressing and feeling up his body as the alien started smiling. It seems like this lizard wasn’t a threat and seemed intelligent as well. “My name is Kora. I’m a resident of this planet.” They decided to introduce themself to the lizard now that they knew he could talk.

The lizard blushes as Kora feels around his body. He wishes he could talk to them more, but needing to save his air means he can't really risk more than a few words. Still, he decides he can spend a little on at least introducing himself. "I'm Chris."

“Chris… that’s a good name. What are you?” Kora asked as his arms started to feel up his legs, looking down at the lizard man. He didn’t seem to understand that Chris couldn’t breathe here, but there wasn’t a reason to bring it up just yet. The lizard still seemed fine on air so far.

Where did you come from?” Since Chris seemed to wanna keep his responses short, Kora decided to ask questions that only needed short responses. They didn’t wanna scare off their new lizard friend, after all.

Kora looked over and saw the crashed lander in the distance. To them, they felt like they just saw a piece of alien technology for the first time. It wasn’t inaccurate given how Chris was technically considered an alien to the locals. “Ah, so that was you. We had heard about what looked and felt like a small meteor crashing onto our planet a while ago. I never would’ve thought that someone so cute would be the cause.” They gently placed their extra arms on Chris’ butt.

They followed him the whole way and stared at that lizard butt occasionally, watching it jiggle slightly as they made it to the lander. Just in time too since Kora could see the lizard’s cheeks turn a deep shade of red. “You okay?”

Chris makes the airlock cycle, the outer door closing as a hissing sound fills the room. After a few seconds, there's a beep, and Chris gasps, finally getting to catch his breath. "A-alright, we're good to go." He opens the inner door, entering the lander proper.

Kora followed Chris in and looked around with amazement with their 6 eyes, their puffy cheeks lightly bouncing a bit as they took everything in. The roles were basically reversed at this point, but Kora luckily had an easier way of communicating without wasting air. Their antenna glowed and Chris could hear Kora’s voice in his head through telepathy. “Wow… this place is amazing!”

“I believe so. Make sure to hold in as much breath in your cheeks as you can.” Kora advised, despite not really needing to tell him that. They were starting to get used to being around the lizard. Considering how Chris was trapped here, he kinda had to at this point.

"Yep, gotta take every advantage I can get." Chris starts doing some deep breathing as he enters the airlock. After a little while, he holds his breath once more and cycles the airlock, a similar process to last time happening before he opens the outer door.

They stepped out together as Kora let out the breath they were holding and took another one in. “Ahhhhhh, sweet Xenon.” They simply said before walking away with Chris, further than he’s ever been before. “It’ll take a little bit before we get to my home, but I’m confident you can make it.” They gave a gentle pat of Chris’ cheeks.

“Hmmmmmm… I do know of some people who may be able to fix it, but it’ll take a while. This is our first time interacting with extraterrestrial life, after all.” Kora admitted, continuing to walk alongside Chris. At the very least, the few months of air would probably be enough to last him until the lander is fixed up. “At least you’ll be able to explore more of this planet in the meantime.”

I’m sure the people of your planet will be thrilled to hear what you’ve found out from being stranded here.” Soon, a large city was coming into view. “There it is, my home city.” Kora pointed out, the city itself looking quite technologically advanced compared to what Chris is used to on Earth.

“Really?” Kora looked a bit surprised at that, but it started to make sense the more he thought about it. “I suppose there really are planets out there less developed than our own.” As they stepped into the city, Chris could see more of Kora’s race going about their days and all of them were just as naked as Kora. Some were even riding on what looked to be flying cars.

The Kloens curiously stared at Chris not with fear, but with amazement. Seems like they were a bit more at ease since they saw Kora walking alongside him, implying the lizard wasn’t a threat. “Don’t worry. They’re just as curious of you as you are of them.”

Chris was quickly becoming the center of attention of any passerbys, the Kloens realizing that he was the strange creature that’s been the talk of the town for a good while.

“Well, there are a few fun things to do here. A couple of them include races in the sky with our cars, festivals for the revealing of new inventions and technology for the public, swimming, fishing, and so on.” Judging by that, it was clear there was no shortage of fun things to do around here as well as the fact that this planet had places to swim and fish. “As for religion, we don’t really have that. We aren’t the only intelligent life on this planet, as there are some other cities scattered around the planet. This planet’s name is Kloena.” Kora said, answering all of Chris’ questions.

It’s one of our favorite activities, actually.” Kora saw that blush and smiled, caressing those big puffy cheeks of his and squeezing them. They had to admit he looked cute when he was low on breath.

“Considering how we’re gonna try and repair it and you do need it to breathe, I think bringing the lander closer to the city is a better idea. Thankfully, I know just where to go.” Kora held Chris’ hand and leads him towards a large looking building, which somewhat resembled a mechanic’s place back on Earth. The inside was filled with large shelves holding various busted vehicles, with one of them being worked on nearby by a fellow Kloen wearing a cap backwards. “Hey Kienan, there’s someone I want to introduce you to.”

The mechanic, known as Kienan, turned around to face their friend and the lizard with a smile. “Oh hey Kora. Is that the creature from the woods?” They asked as they stopped working on the busted vehicle to face Kora.

Kora nodded their head. “Yes, it is. His name is Chris, and he needs some help with something.” They then let Chris tell Kienan about the broken lander.

Chris shows Kienan the tablet after typing on it for a while. "The lander I came down in got damaged on the way, and its thrusters don't work any more. I haven't got a clue how to fix it myself, and it NEEDS to be fixed within a few months before my air supply runs out, since I can't breathe the atmosphere here. I really hope you'll be able to figure something out."

Kienan read what the tablet said and rubbed their chin, as if thinking about it. “Hmmmmmm… where is this lander?”

“It’s in the woods. I’m sure you know which woods I’m talking about. It’s the one where Chris here was spotted at. I was thinking you and your colleagues could go and get it and bring it back here to work on. That way, Chris can come and breathe whenever he needs to.” Kora explained as Kienan nodded their head along with the explanation.

“I see… well, considering how it’s alien technology, it’ll probably take a month or two to really fix it up to working condition again. But I’ll definitely put that lander above all my other jobs since it’s not every day you get to work on alien tech.” Kienan then turned to Chris again. “You should probably stay out of it as much as you can, though. You can come and breathe whenever you need to, but I’ll need to be undisturbed otherwise to figure it all out.” They explained to Chris.

“Sounds good to me! I’ll go with you to make sure you don’t get lost on the way back.” Kora said as they looked to Kienan next, smiling at them. “Thanks again for doing this for him, Kienan.”

“It’s my pleasure! I’ll be sure to bring the lander back here as soon as possible.” Kienan promised before Kora and Chris exited the shop, starting to head back to where Chris had crash landed.

Their lungs were begging them to swim up and take a breath, but they forced themselves to stay down even with how hard it was to keep all of that xenon inside of them.

They’d have to make the trek over to the lander to get a breather.

Since they were still waterlogged, their swimming was noticeably slower than it was before, yet still clearly faster than most people would be able to swim with their lungs full of water. Soon enough, Kora had finally gasped for breath as they surfaced and coughed out all of the water they inhaled. They took in deep breaths to regain their energy, getting out of the water and recovering for a bit before rushing off towards the location of Chris’ lander with him in his arms. But it was no longer where it originally was, presumably taken back to the city while the two were underwater.

They tried not to focus on how huge Chris’ cheeks were getting, even if they did look sexy. They were getting closer and closer to the city as they kept on panting. They checked on Chris and saw that he was getting an extremely deep blue.

As they predicted, the lander was there, currently being worked on by Kieran. Kieran looked towards the two in surprise but upon seeing Chris’ blue body, they nodded and opened the lander for Chris to rush into.

“Phew, just made it.” Kora said, sweating a bit from all the running they did as they tried to catch their breath. Both them and Kieran could hear Chris breathing even from within the lander. Kora was just happy that Chris ended up okay.

S: a week passes by as the lizard and an eevee got suspended from doing spacework because they didn't explore the unknown planet, but now this time is gonna be way different, knowing the lizard won't forget the spacesuits this time, the eevee is gonna try their hardest to be brave for the next space trip, and they are just now heading over there at high speeds...they land back at the unknown planet after a few hours

L: The lizard happily sighs as the ship lands back on the strange planet. "Okay, FINALLY it's time to do this! Can't wait to have a look around out there..."

S: the eevee sighs
"As much as I don't wanna go through this again, I'm determined to be a lot braver! Now I know for sure this time you didn't forget those dang spacesuits! Which should make this better for me"

L: "Yep, let's go get suited up!" The lizard heads to where the suits are stored... And nothing's there. "...No, no, there's no way I did this again..." He starts looking around for the suits.

S: "What's wrong?" the eevee goes over there too, and sees nothing
"...are you....KIDDING ME RIGHT NOW?!?!? Do not tell me you forgot the spacesuits AGAIN!?"

L: "SOMEHOW, yeah! Ugh, I'm so sorry, I don't even know how I managed this, I THOUGHT I checked before we left!"

S: the eevee facepalms
"Unbelievable...I can't believe this...here I am trying to act brave, and yet you forgot the dang spacesuits again! I'm screwed now..."

L: The lizard leans against a wall, defeated. "And we can't just go back again like last time or we're gonna get fired, I know it... I know you don't want to, but just going outside is our only option now."

S: "No...no I'm not doing this again!!! I refuse to go through this again! I can't!!"

L: "We have to this time! I wish we didn't, needing to hold our breath is gonna make this so much slower..."

S: "I-i know, and the fact that im gonna be a bad breath holder out there... look even your friend toxtricity who's one of my all time favorite pokemon couldn't help me, so what makes you think I'm gonna somehow be extra brave this time? I mean I know I said in the beginning I was gonna be brave, but that was before you forgot the spacesuits!"

L: "You know how well this'll pay once we get it done! I know it'll sucks, but it'll be worth it!"

S: "...I guess that's a good point, we do get a lot of money for doing this" the eevee sighs heavily
"I don't know how I'm gonna do this since we tried everything last time... but I'll have to do it..."

L: "I'll be right next to you for the whole thing... Maybe seeing how different this place is from Earth will help distract you from being scared?"

S: "I suppose so, but when we did this last time I got so scared I couldn't even hold my breath... how am I gonna make sure that I don't freak out right away?"

L: "I'm, um... Not sure. Just have to hope we figure something out, I guess..."

S: "Well, I don't wanna delay this longer then I did last time, so... ugh, we might as well try it now, even tho I'm not ready at all"

L: "No better way to get used to it than to just do it, yeah. At least the atmosphere here isn't toxic." The lizard leads the eevee to the airlock.

S: "Oh man, I can't believe I'm doing this again... I'm so scared!!!"

L: "It's gonna be okay, just try your best to relax... Wish we could have some help with this, but we can't exactly get someone else here."

S: "Y-yeah... that's kind of impossible now... the only person I have is you..." the eevee looks up at the lizard with a big cute adorable eyes, trying to think of someway to stay relaxed this time and go out there

L: The lizard gives the eevee a hug. "I suppose there's the off chance we'll meet some kind of friendly alien out there, I'm sure that'd help."

S: "M-maybe I don't know...guess we're gonna have to find out together huh...oh boy"

L: "Get some deep breaths, then we'll give this a shot. I'm PRETTY sure it's gonna be fine out there like last time when I went on my own for a little bit." The lizard starts taking deep breaths.

S: "A-alright..." the eevee, continuing to be scared takes some deep breathes as well, hoping he won't be too scared again for this adventure

L: After a little while, the lizard's ready, and he hopes the eevee is too. "Alright, hold your breath!" He does that himself, and sets the airlock to cycle.

S: "Ahhhh!!!!!" the eevee briefly panics when he was told to hold his breath, but he does as he has told, squeezing his eyes shut in fear

L: The air in the airlock is replaced with what's in the planet's atmosphere, and the lizard opens the door to the outside. He wags his tail as he sees the outside again, and he hopes the eevee will be willing to join him out there.

S: the eevee's legs were shaking as he slowly opens his eyes, but he managed to follow the lizard outside, keeping a tight hold of his breath for now, as constant whimpers escape him

L: The lizard smiles at the eevee and pets them, trying to help keep them calm as he takes in the strange environment.

S: the eevee takes a quick look around, then he tightly hugs the lizard, his face already flushing red

L: Seeing the eevee's blush, the lizard quickly brings them back into the airlock, closing the outer door and switching the air back before exhaling. "Okay, I think that was at least longer than before..."

S: the eevee gasps in the air heavily
"I mean that's good, but there's no way I could go long enough to fully explore..."

L: "That won't be anywhere near enough, yeah... I don't want to just keep bringing you out and back here, and I can't imagine you want that either, so we need to think of something else..."

S: "Yeah...b-but what? I really did try my hardest to stay calm out there! I truly did!"

L: "No idea... I should've put more thought into it while we were suspended, but I didn't think this would be happening again."

S: "I didn't think it would happen either! But here we are! Ugh... I may just have to try it again, even tho I really don't wanna"

L: "I think that might be our only option, as much of a pain as it'll be for both of us. Just have to hope you start feeling better about it..."

S: "Ugh...I hate this so much!!" the eevee tears up

L: "I know, I'm sorry I keep putting you through this..." The lizard hugs the eevee again. Outside, though, a native of the planet has taken notice of the ship the two are in, recognizing it from when they'd last come by. They cautiously walk up to a window, looking inside at the two...

S: the eevee notices something through the window, looking at it curiously
"Huh? W-whats that?"

L: "Wait, what?" The lizard looks out too, and starts wagging his tail again. "Oh, it's one of the planet's natives! Looks like they're interested in us!"

The alien looks pretty confused at the two of them, having no idea what they are.

S: "Mama mia... they actaully...look kind of cute if I'm honest" the eevee blushes a tad

L: "Maybe they're friendly? If they're intelligent, those universal translators should let us talk to them too!"

The alien makes a few strange noises that can be heard from inside the ship, seemingly trying to talk to the lizard and eevee.

S: "I-i think they are trying to talk to us! I heard them making noises!"

L: "Okay, we'd better get those out then just in case!" The lizard quickly goes to where the translators are stored, and pulls out a couple, which look like headbands. He puts one on, and passes the other to the eevee.

S: "These look like headbands, heh" the eevee puts them on as well, wondering what this creature has to say to us

L: The lizard turns back to the alien. "What was that you said a second ago?"

The alien looks surprised. "U-um... I was just asking what you two are. Ha, I didn't think you'd be fluent in this language!"

S: "Oh...well, we were gonna ask what you were, heh... but, he's a lizard and I'm an eevee..."

L: Alien: "I've never heard of those... Anyway, I'm a thalassar."

Lizard: "That's certainly new to us!"

S: "Definitely, never heard of those things before..."

L: Alien: "Are you guys trapped in there? That place looks weird..."

Lizard: "Don't worry, we're fine! We came here in this, because we can't breathe the air here. Had to bring our own."

S: "Y-yeah... but I'm too scared to come out there with no air supply..."

L: Alien: "Wait... You're from another planet, aren't you? That's awesome! I've always wanted to meet aliens!"

Lizard: "I'd come out there with you, but yeah, my eevee friend REALLY doesn't want to..."

S: "Yeah... I've tried to go out there and I was too scared... we don't really know what to do"

L: The alien looks over the ship. "...Maybe I could come in there, then? I doubt I can breathe your air, but I'm good at holding my breath."

Lizard: "I'd be up for that, but are you sure?"

S: "Yeah, I mean you don't have to do that... plus, maybe you should test it first to see if you can breathe the air, you never know you might be able to"

L: Lizard: "We should definitely test if you can breathe in here first, just to be safe."

Alien: "Yeah, that's a good idea. Where's the entrance?"

S: "It's over here" the eevee points to the airlock in front of the ship

L: The alien walks into the airlock. "This is a weird-looking doorway..."

The lizard makes the outside door close. "It's called an airlock. It'll switch out the air of this planet and replace it with some of what's in here."

S: "Yeah, what he said....now let's see if you can breathe in this air... I hope he can cause then he may be able to talk me into doing this..." the eevee thought to himself for a moment

he's really hoping the ailen will somehow breathe air

L: Lizard: "Here goes..." He sets the airlock to cycle, hoping for the best...

As the air is changed out, the alien looks around in confusion. "O-oh wow, breathing this feels REALLY weird..."

S: "Oh? So wait, can you breathe it in ok then?"

L: Alien: "Other than it feeling weird, I think I'm fine."

Lizard: "That's great! Here, I'll let you into here." He opens the inner door of the airlock, and the alien comes in, looking around.

Alien: "So this is what the technology of another world is like..."

S: "Bet that feels weird huh? Heh, can't blame you...maybe you'll be able to help me out in getting out there, cause I'm struggling"

L: Alien: "Right, yeah." They cautiously sit down next to the eevee. "So... You're nervous about not being able to breathe out there, right?"

Lizard: "Yeah, and I've tried everything to convince him to go outside..."

S: "Yeah... and I try my hardest to stay relaxed but no matter what I do, I can't stay calm enough to fully explore out there"

L: Alien: "Well, I could probably help keep you guys safe out there, since I definitely know a lot more about this planet than you do."

Lizard: "That's true, yeah... You could be like a guide for us."

S: "Yeah, that could definitely help me chillax a little... having someone who knows this planet very well and all"

L: Alien: "...You know, now that I really think about it... There's these trees that grow in this region with fruits filled with gas of some kind. Breathing that makes me feel EXACTLY the same as breathing this air does. Maybe you guys would be able to breathe from those?"

Lizard: "Oh, that'd be a huge help!"

S: "Oh really? Well I definitely think that would help yeah!"

L: Alien: "There's actually one not too far from... Whatever this is. I can take you guys straight there."

Lizard: "What do you think, Eevee? Want to go see it?"

S: "Well... as much as I don't wanna be holding my breath again, I guess having this alien with me does help me, so...ok then"

Alien: "Heh, to me, YOU guys are the aliens here..." They get up and start heading back for the airlock.

S: "Ha ha very funny" the eevee is still deep down nervous, but he's at least better then before

L: The trio get into the airlock, and the lizard closes the inner door again.

Lizard: "Alright, deep breaths again..." He starts deeply breathing again.

Alien: "That must help you guys hold your breath longer, huh?"

S: "It usually does yeah..." the eevee nervously takes some deep breathes as well

L: Eventually, the lizard's ready again. "Alright, here we go... If this doesn't work, nothing will." He sets the airlock to cycle once more.

S: the eevee yelps
"H-here we go again..." he quickly takes a deep breath and holds it in, whimpering

L: The alien relaxes some as the air changes to what he's used to, and the lizard opens the outer door again, motioning for the alien to lead the way.

Alien: "Right, you guys probably can't talk out here without losing air... I'll try to stick with yes or no questions."

S: the eevee whimpers and whines, his face already flushing a tad bit red with how scared he is, he tries to stay close to both the lizard and alien

L: Alien: "Oh man, you're already struggling... Alright, let's head straight for that tree." They start leading the way to the tree, which is already visible. It's purple and most of its branches form spirals, and there's several large light blue fruits hanging from each one.

The lizard smiles as he looks it over, happy to be learning more about this planet.

S: the eevee smiles a little at it too, grunting from strain as his face is fully red

L: Thankfully, it's not that far to get to the tree.

Alien: "I can't reach the fruits, but I'm pretty sure your lizard friend can get them." The lizard nods, carefully picking two of the fruits and handing one to the eevee.

S: the eevee takes one of the fruits, but he's a little nervous about biting into it, looking at the lizard as his whole face is still red

L: Alien: "You should probably try out breathing from one before we go anywhere, don't want you to mess it up once we're far away."

The lizard looks at the eevee, a little nervous, before trying out getting a breath. He bites into his fruit and carefully inhales through his mouth, the fruit deflating... And he gives a thumbs-up, having confirmed it's fully breathable.

S: Knowing the eevee doesn't have a lot of time left, he bites into his own fruit carefully then inhales through his mouth, feeling the air fill his lungs as his blush fades away

L: Alien: "Alright, good, you've both got it. Lizard guy, grab a couple more and we'll start exploring." The lizard grabs another 2 fruits, ready to continue on.

S: even tho the eevee had an air supply, they didn't move...choosing to stay behind with how scared they are

L: The alien looks back at the eevee. "You okay? Oh, you're getting too nervous again, aren't you?" They and the lizard come back over to the eevee.

S: the eevee nods sadly, whimpering as his face already turns a little red again, being out here with no fresh air to breathe into is starting to get the best of him

L: Alien: "There's still a lot more to see out here, come on!"

The lizard takes a look at the air-fruit tree, seeing how much is still left on it, and decides he can spend some of the air he's got. "I'm sure there'll be more trees like this one!"

S: the eevee doesn't talk, just continuing to cower in fear, his face turning more red because of it, he doesn't know what to do to get this feeling to pass so he can continue foreard

L: The lizard gives the eevee a hug, hoping that'll help.

Alien: "...What are you doing?"

Lizard: "Giving him a hug. That tends to help people calm down."

S: the eevee nods, hugging the lizard back and hoping he'll be able to calm down enough to keep going

L: After a bit of hesitation, the alien joins in on the hug, a bit awkwardly. "...Is this right?"

Lizard: "Mmhm!" He nods.

S: the eevee smiles a bit as the two of them hug him, his face fully red again as he was still scared, but does feel a little better with the group hug

L: After the hug, both the lizard and alien smile at the eevee, the lizard blushing a little from having talked out some air.

Alien: "Do you feel any better now?"

S: the eevee is unsure if they feel any better then they were, but nods very slightly

L: Alien: "You two ought to refill on air again, then we'll try going farther."

The lizard nods, breathing from one fruit and giving the other to the eevee while he grabs another pair.

S: the eevee then breathes from his own fruit, his face back to normal, he turns to the ship...it's air inside calling his name inside his head, begging him to come back...he tries to shake off the feelings

L: Lizard: "Come on, just one quick exploration trip, then we can go back."

Alien: "Probably won't have to be too long!"

S: the eevee sighs which wastes a bit of his air, and eventually nods again before walking over to the lizard and alien, ready to continue

L: After giving the eevee some pats to reassure them, the lizard gestures for the alien to continue.

Alien: "Alright, let's get going." They resume leading the two along.

S: the eevee stays close to them both, trying everything to keep his air in, but it's slowly getting harder and harder to do, he starts thinking about the fresh air inside the ship again even as he starts to look around the place

L: Alien: "I'd show you guys my home, but that's pretty far from here, I don't think you'd make it..."

The lizard doesn't mind that, just happily looking around.

S: the eevee however yelps at that, he's definitely not gonna wanna be that far from fresh air...eventually he couldn't take holding his breath anymore, he starts to run back to the ship, covering his mouth with a paw

L: Lizard: "H-hey!" He follows the eevee.

Alien: "Oh jeez, should I not have said that? I didn't mean I was taking you there!" They go with the lizard.

S: the eevee shakes his head as he runs as fast as he can back to the ship, eventually he gets back inside it and already pushes the button to make the regular air in the airlock come back, gasping it in heavily, he was already blushing red again as it was slowly going away

L: The lizard knocks on the outside door. "Mmm!"

Alien: "Let your friend in too!"

S: the eevee nods and quickly opens the door for the lizard to come inside... once he stepped in the eevee switches out the air again and let's the lizard come inside the ship

L: The lizard catches his breath inside the ship. "Guess you just got too scared again, huh?"

The alien heads back to the window to look in at the two.

S: "Y-yeah, I couldn't handle holding my breath anymore, it was starting to be too much... I tried my very best... but I don't think I can go out there anymore..."

L: Lizard: "Well... We got these fruits, that might be enough to at least let us keep our jobs... But maybe..." He looks out at the alien. "Would you be at all interested in coming to Earth with us?"

Alien: "The planet you're from? I'm... Not really sure, I never thought of that..."

S: "Come on! If you were to come with us we probably would get paid so much more money if we brought a real life alien! You gotta! Since you can breathe our air fine and all! I bet they would be truly fascinated by you!" the eevee looks at the alien with an adorable smile, hoping to help convince them to come

L: Alien: "...You know what, seeing another planet would be really cool! I'm up for that!"

Lizard: "Alright! Just keep in mind, anyone without a headband like what we've got won't be able to understand you." He lets the alien into the ship.

S: "But we could always give them ours so that way they can talk to you" the eevee gave the alien a hug once he got on board the ship
"I can't wait to see everyone's faces when we go back home! W-we are going back home now right? Heh..."

L: Lizard: "Yep, I'm sure our bosses will be satisfied with meeting our alien friend!" He starts up the ship, and it starts to take off.

The alien hugs the eevee back, stumbling a bit as the ship starts moving. "W-woah, weird... But cool!"

S: "Don't worry, I felt that way too when the ship first takes off, hehe"

after a few hours, the ship lands back at the port, a couple of folks already waiting for their return and hoping they have some better news to share

L: The lizard opens up the doors and steps out of the ship. "So, good news and bad news. Bad news, forgot the suits again somehow. Good news... We've made a friend!" He gestures to the alien, who steps out beside him, looking around the unfamiliar environment.

S: "I-i hope your satisfied with it!"

the eevee wags his tail a bit

one of the ones of the group was another lizard looks at the alien in shock, he couldn't believe what they just brought back

L: Another, a frog, is the first of the group to respond. "...I-is it intelligent? Well, it must be, you don't have it in a cage..."

Lizard: "Yep, it's intelligent! It calls itself a "thalassar".

The alien waves, remembering they were told most people won't understand their language, and not being able to understand anyone but the lizard and eevee either.

S: "Yeah! Here, if you wanna talk to them use this!" the eevee takes off their headband and tosses it over to the frog, the other lizard is still in shock to speak

L: Frog: "Oh! Um, yeah!" He puts the headband on. "Um... H-hi!"

Alien: "Hello! I'm liking what I've seen of your planet so far!"

Frog: "Oh, thanks!"

S: Other lizard - "What's it saying?? Gimme that headband I wanna talk to it!"

Eevee - "Hehe..."

L: Lizard: "Haha, here!" He tosses that lizard his own headband.

Frog: "Man, this is SO cool!"

Alien: "I know, this is more fun than I expected!"

S: the other lizard takes the headband and puts it on

Other lizard - "Hi there! You look so cool! Welcome to our planet!"

L: Alien: "Glad you're all cool with me being here! And don't worry, the people of my planet don't plan on invading, haha!"

Frog: "Okay, good, I was kinda wondering about that."

S: "Heh...that's good...we don't need that"

the other lizard looks up at the eevee and lizard who went to the planet

"You both did good this time, thank you! We'll be sure your paid well for what you brought to us!"

L: Frog: "For sure, this is a really big deal!"

Lizard: "Nice, thanks!"

Alien: "And you're all welcome to visit my planet, by the way! I'm sure the others would be okay with you!"

S: Eevee - "Just don't forget the spacesuits, unlike someone in here" the eevee smirks a bit

L: Lizard: "Next time I'll remember for sure! There's no way I'm letting it happen a third time!"

Frog: "Heh, yeah, heard about that incident..."

S: "Sure bud, sure...hehe"

Other Lizard - "Heh heh heh..."

L: Lizard: "Well, think it's about time to write up our report... Then after that, we'll be showing our alien friend around! After maybe getting some more translators, anyway."

Frog: "Oh, do you think one of these would work if they wore it themselves?"

Alien: "Given that they're made for the people of this planet, probably not, but... Worth a shot!"

S: Eevee - "It's possible I guess"

Other Lizard - "Yeah I say it's worth a shot"

L: The frog comes over and puts his headband onto the alien. "Alright, is it working?"

Alien: "...Feels weird, but yeah, I can understand you!"

Lizard: "And we can understand you! That'll make things way easier!"

S: Eevee - "Oh that's perfect! That should help us out a lot then!"

Other Lizard- "Nice!!"

L: Frog: "Yeah, great! Hope you all have fun together!"

Lizard: "I'm sure we will!"

Alien: "Oh, totally, I'm gonna be doing a LOT of exploring!"

S: Eevee - "Cool! Now WE get to show you around this time, hehe!"

and so, the lizard and eevee show the ailen around all their favorite spots, the eevee is deep down proud of himself for managing to be brave and go out to meet this awesome alien friend
