In the season 1 finale, Kid Cosmic's old containment suit got really beat up fighting the Enclave. So in Season 2, he gets a new upgraded suit made by Mimi, Merle, and Matsuye, a.k.a. The Hot Tomatoes. Comsic's new suit is made of the new Vibranium Alloy they developed, so it can store up and be charged by Cosmic's massive cosmic energy and now it can handle his power at 50%. The blue armor on his arms will increase his endurance and strength and are strong as titanium. He also have special gloves which will let Cosmic to fire small shots of his Cosmic Blast in compressed air and can program a variety of modes for his suit. Plus, they reused his damaged cape. An added bonus, Matsuye made Cosmic some energy-induced weapons and a headset which will allow him to move them telekinetic. And now Kid Cosmic has unlocked some extra powers.
