"So, you agree with me on copaganda?" Mason asked.
"Absolutely" Stefan nodded honestly, "Its why shit like Paw Patrol is so insidious."
Garret sighed.
They had met Mason when Garret (under Stefan's protests) took his yearly diagnostics to check if his smoking habits were affecting his health. They thankfully still didn't herald anything truly malignant, but they might as well considering that the two opossums got along pretty well.
And that meant double the conspiracy bullshit.
"I myself have faced the worst of it" Mason said, "Cops here are nothing but useless when it comes to real criminals."
Mason looked around, then hushed down.
"I myself maybe be part of a vigilante posse tracking actual criminals the feds won't look twice over."
Stefan's jaws opened wide in wonder.
"That's amazing! You're fighting the good fight!"
"Yeah, gotta be secretive though. Which is why is nice to see a friendly face."
Mason winked; if this was perceived by Stefan's head, it didn't show, but Garret could help but hang on to his possum protectively.
"Anyways, my break's about to end. Let's exchange numbers and maybe I can get you to meet the others."
"That would be so cool!"
The two opossums exchanged numbers, then parted ways. Once they did, Stefan turned to Garret.
"You're so jealous, aren't ya?"
Before Garret could answer, Stefan hugged him.
"Don't be. You're my one and only."
The two kissed.
"But really, it's lucky we got Mason on his hospital. Less chances of our data being sold to corporate moguls."
Garret sighed, and smiled, kissing Stefan again.
