When he First got his Quirk, Hokichi could only open a small portal that lasted for 10 Seconds. He can keep a Single Portal Open for 20 Minutes. But the More Portals he opens, the shorter they last.

Background: Ohori Hokichi was born in Japan During the Age of Heroes. He was born with Black Hair and Gray Eyes. He inherited the Hair and Facial features from his Mother Okimoto and they eyes from his father Nakahara.
Shortly after he Turned 5, Ohori obtained A Quirk. A Set of Black Dots appeared on his hand Palms and Forehead. One night During dinner, Ohori dropped his fork and when he tried to pick it up, the fork vanished into a Black portal and reappeared on the table.
Ohori realized that his Quirk could allow him to create portals. As a child, Ohori dreamed like many others of becoming a Hero and Started practicing to use his Quirk since he was 5.
He started by trying open a portal that could Take from one corner of his Apartment to the other. After 4 years of practice, Ohori took it up a notch. He attempted to open portals that could take from one rooftop to another.
His Quirk caught the attention of several Pro Heroes. By the Time he was 15, Ohori could open about Two Portals at a time to travel anywhere he was familiar with within a Quarter-mile. He took the U.A Entrance Exam and was accepted into the Hero Course. He started his First Day at U.A. High a week after he turned 16.
Hokichi became good friends with another First Year, Koju Otsuki who was from the Support Course. Otsuki helped Hokichi make some modifications to his hero costume.
During his Second Year, Hokichi, Known by his Hero Name Twilight, obtained his Provisional Hero License and took a work study at a Hero Agency. One Night while on Patrol, he came across a Mystery figure dressed in a Green costume. Twilight Couldn’t see his face, but saw the Figure was emitting green energy from his palms and using them on a Homeless man. When Twilight Heard the Figure Speak, he Recognized both the Quirk and the Voice as Otsuki.
Upon Confronting him as to Why Otsuki was wearing a Hero Costume, Twilight Learned that Otsuki created his own Costume and posed as a Vigilante in order to take down Villains on his own. After hearing him out, Twilight agreed to keep his Secret and Help Otsuki, but under the condition he teach him how to fight so he can be ready to face a dangerous Villain.
During the Day, Hokichi would attend to his school work and Train his Quirk as well as his Work Study, but during most Mights he would help Otsuki with his Vigilanteism. Since their Costumes covered their faces, no one knew who they really were and Twilight would of course take all the credit when he and Otsuki took down a Villain as a matter of protection.
During his 3rd Year, Hokichi and the rest of the students moved into Dorms. Making it difficult for Otsuki to do his Work as a Vigilante. But Twilight was able to use his Quirk so they could Sneak off campus undetected.
By the Time he was a Third Year, Hokichi could Create Multiple Portals that would allow him to Travel to a location that was a mile away. One Portal can remain Opened for about Twenty Minutes, but for each new Portal he creates, the timing is shortened by 2 Minutes.
Twilight uses his portals to fight Villans in order to take them by surprise. By day, Hokichi was a Proud Student and Hero-in-Training. But by Night, he was a Hero/Vigilante and enjoyed every second of it.
