I made this drawing of Keesha and Durango for Independence Day last year, 2023, and released it on Twitter, but I rushed it and wasn't happy with the result, plus it was weeks late anyway. I wasn't at the top of my game at the time. This year I fixed a couple of issues and re-released it, on the actual 4th of July, and now I'm finally satisfied with it. I hope all of you (At least the US citizens among you) had a great 4th of July this year and last year.

There's just a few details with Durango I wanna point out. First, his pose is based off of the Bruce Springsteen "Born In The USA" album cover. Second, I put a Bud Light on his grill because Kid Rock had just recently released a silly video of him shooting Bud Lights all because of Budweiser making a special one-off can with a photo of a trans woman to gift to that same woman. I don't remember all the details, but it was so funny I just decided to include a Bud Light in there to spite conservatives who blew a gasket over that whole thing.
