Hi Roxxas! Thanks for reading - good question! Kisuke’s hair has changed drastically, hasn’t it? Before the beginning of chapter five, his hair was the same color as his main body fur - a warm caramel brown - now it’s almost an ashy, charcoal grey with his headfur being almost straight white!
The long and short of it is that, while still relatively young, Kisuke has gone through - and continues to go through, as we will see - a huge physical transformation due to the events of chapter 4, which has aged him a bit in the process. Critterkin raccoons vary in color for the most part, but as they age their fur leans more towards cooler colors. White face and headfur is a common trait in older Ryllian raccoons as well!
