Meet Olivia, my first-ever adopt! (but certainly not the last)
When I saw this adopt the design really caught my eye as it's so rare to see a damaged protogen, and the desire to write her backstory left me with no choice but to take her in!
Please believe her when she says she's OK, as those are also her initials!
While her damages could easily enough be repaired by her nanites, she keeps them in memory of those that didn't survive the events that left her in this state.
(said events are still under development in her backstory as my muse is napping on the issue)
Anyhow, what you see are no longer wounds, merely just scars after sufficient repair to seal them and render them painless.
She regrets the loss of the fluffy portions of her body the most, and is a bit self-conscious about that aspect of her appearance, but otherwise wears her scars comfortably.
She is also pragmatic and lives life with minimal regrets, in order to live a full life and carry forward the memory of those that didn't survive the events that so damaged her.
