In our current society, giving ourselves five minutes is a Herculian task, isn't it? You might even say that going on social media or watching some new series would be a time-out for you, but when was the last time you really stopped and thought about yourself?
A few years ago, I had a heart attack at work and almost died. I remember being immersed in a workaholic wave, with increasingly tighter deadlines and bigger goals to achieve, and one day my heart decided to show me that I am still mortal.
After recovering from the incident, one of the best things I did in my life was to start psychological and psychiatric treatment, and one of the first things I needed to improve was "switching off" some things to control my chronic anxiety and OCD. As I said, this happened a few years ago, and I started to treat things differently. Even starting to post the images that I generate here on IB is part of exploring my desires, my insecurities, my experiences, and improving my proficiency in English because, after all, we are all human beings behind the avatars, and this is a method I discovered to be an interesting way of doing that.
