Hans is a hardworking lumberjack dedicated to his job, and has a very strict demeanor, he's calm serious and has a no-nonsense attitude, while he can get angry and irritable but has always keeps his cool, thus is very protective of his children, especially his adventurous and rebellious teenage son Ryo. Lori is a devoted homemaker and a sweet, cheery, loving mother that took care of her family and cares about her children's well-being as much as her husband's. Roscoe is an expert bounty hunter and mechanic like his late father, and is an expert on vehicles and machinery too. Tough and serious and a no-nonsense individual, he also gets angry and irritable, but always has kept his cool.
He was also Knuckle Joe's appointed guardian when he was growing up, where Roscoe is an honorary uncle, Joe would call him "Uncle Roscoe". He also happened to be Sirica's appointed guardian as well.

Grace works at the dinar in the village in the planet Sky High. Dakin was a daring adventurer in the past, but ever since his legs were paralyzed, he has retired and has to be on a wheelchair, where he's currently a mild-mannered stay-at-home father who would tell stories of his past adventures. He supports his daughter Plume for when she currently leads the Dream Chasers.
The wheelchair he currently has is themed after the Dream Chasers to show support. === Hans and Roscoe's early life: *Series prior* Hans and Roscoe Axer were born in Knuckle Village, their mother is Winifred, a home maker born to a rich family in the same village, their father was Garrett, an expert bounty hunter that happened to be 10 years older than their mom. The twin brothers were inseparable as Roscoe always looks out for Hans while they love their parents a lot.
However, during the first 12 years of their life their parents weren't really happy with each other in their married life, Winifred gets worried for Garrett's safety as his bounty hunting years are extremely risky and the fact he doesn't change, which is why they frequently argue over those things, it greatly worries their sons.
At the time they are 12 years old, Winifred divorced Garrett and the brothers were also separated, Hans had to go with his mother while Roscoe had to go with his father. --- Hans' life after his parents' divorce: *Series prior* 12 year old Hans and his single mother Winifred Nobleheart had moved to a village in Ice Island, which is on Dreamland in Planet Pop Star to have a fresh start, as his mother raised him to live a regular life free from danger.
Hans would meet a 4 year old Lori and her 5 year old Grace and befriend them. He even took interest in being a lumberjack as he would volunteer with other lumberjacks. As a teenager Hans used to babysit Lori and Grace. Hans and Lori have a close bond.
Years later when 16 year old Grace left her village to go with Dakin Shinesky on his adventures, 15 year old Lori stayed with her parents in their village while she continues to support 23 year old Hans in his work as a lumberjack.
Three years later, 18 year old Lori started to fall for Hans as he's always been nice to her, they eventually marry and have a son named Ryo, 8 years later they then have twins Thoma and Maya.
Young Ryo would help around the house in his village while his father sometimes takes his son with him to cut wood for logs to sell as well as for the house. He longed for freedom and adventure, but his father won't allow it for personal reasons. Ryo's younger siblings happened to be more responsible and obedient than their older brother.
When he was 12, Ryo snuck away when and his father were out chopping wood, leading him to encounter a Colossal Ice Dragon, his father Hans saves him. Though disappointed with Ryo for disobeying him and endangering himself, he forgives him, while he still worries about his safety.
Four years later, Ryo snucked out to have his own freedom and adventure. His family learned of his disappearance , however, Hans hoped his eldest son will eventually come home, his wife Lori hopes so too as she prayed everyday. *Set between Kirby's Dreamland and Kirby's Adventure*
However, moments later, Lori has fallen to an illness, as her family would then take care of her. --- Roscoe's life after his parents' divorce: *Series prior* 12 year old Roscoe Axer and his single father Garrett moved to a steam punk oriented village near the beach that the latter grew up in. Roscoe became interested in vehicles and machinery while learning to be a bounty hunter from his father.
Two years later, 14 year old Roscoe would meet and befriend an orphaned runaway 6 year old Knuckelf boy named Jecra, who was back then the apprentice of an elderly veteran Star Warrior Sir Ulrich, Roscoe formed a brotherly bond with Jecra as he introduced him to machinery and vehicles and took an interest in them too. Unknown to Jecra, Roscoe wonders if the reason he cares so much for him is because he sees him as a replacement for Hans, who was separated from a divorce.
At 18 years old, Roscoe became a bounty hunter and constructed his weapon that is a mix between an axe and laser rifle. Years later, he would then reunite with Jecra and meet his best friend Meta Knight, Muay Thai Marian, and the other Star Warriors, becoming their ally, and helping them on their journey.
Before the conception of Marian and Jecra's child, the two, alongside Meta Knight and Roscoe that got separated from the group had a fateful encounter against the Swordsman Dark Matter, and after Jecra defeated him, Nightmare placed a curse on the Knuckelf Star Warrior himself secretly as Dark Matter carried it with him before his defeat. *Explaining why he had skin and eye color changes but shifts back to his original color overtime, I headcanon his actual skin color is Caucasian like Knuckle Joe and actual eye color is green like his son has in Super Smash Bros series*
Ever since Marian became a mother to Jecra's son Joe *who inherited his curse, but weaker and a little different, but at times would shift between palletes, explaining why Knuckle Joe first appeared with purple skin, purple eyes, silver hair, red outfit and green headband in Kirby: Right Back at 'Ya before later appearances have him in a game accurate pallete* she settled down as a house wife in her village. Soon enough he had to leave home to continue his journey with Meta Knight and his group, his wife then waited for his return.
When Meta Knight was forced to kill his friend Jecra because he was kidnapped and brainwashed by Nightmare due to the curse he placed on him before, a guilt stricken Meta Knight told Roscoe about what happened to Jecra, due to his fear Marian would view him as an enemy if she knew he killed her husband, Roscoe decided to tell her that an unidentified Star Warrior killed Jecra instead.
Marian was told by Roscoe that a Star Warrior whose identity is unknown killed her husband, devastating her. As a widowed mother, she raised her son alone, but with help from her family and Roscoe too, all while Knuckle Joe grew up as he trains regularly, all while Roscoe is an honorary uncle to him in honor of Sir Jecra.
After Knuckle Joe left home to avenge his father's death and later his mother learned from Meta Knight that he killed Jecra and told the whole reason why, Marian learned Roscoe knew the whole truth about Jecra's death as Meta Knight told him that before she was informed of her husband's death, they decided to let Meta Knight find Knuckle Joe himself and not get involved for their own safety or else her son would end up a self-made orphan.
Prior to Knuckle Joe returning home to his mother, Roscoe left his home village on his own journey and had help individuals in need. ---
Dakin's bsckstory: *Series prior* Dakin Shinesky was originally from Sky High, and he was a fearless daring adventurer ever since he was only 12 years old, having braved many dangerous obstacles himself while he traveled across different places and planets. At 15 years old, he would travel to Ice Island and meet 16 year old Grace, wanting to find a career in life, she left home and went with him on his adventures while still keeping in contact with her family. 18 year old Dakin and 19 year old Grace would return to Sky High and get married, and eventually have a daughter Plumeria, or simply Plume.
Plume has idolized her father ever since she was little, and wants to be just like him when she gets older.
When she was only 6 years old when her village up in the clouds was under attack by a criminal gang that worshipped Nightmare, Plume tripped and fell on the brick when trying to escape with her mother Grace, therefore got trapped between pieces of the broken building, luckily her father Dakin was able to free her, but when he did the pieces of the collapsed building fell on his legs and was crippled as a result, but was saved by Citrine's father Sir Dominic, a Star Warrior, who fought off the villains.
The villagers built a new village near the beach on Sky High while her father was retired due to being paralyzed in the legs, her mother currently works in a restaurant, at least she found a career that fits her.
10 years later, 16 year old Plume decided to travel around the galaxy as she forms and leads the Dream Chasers, with Citrine and Milo joining while also recruiting female Waddle Dee twins Dee-Anne and Jay-Dee that are the planners and doers respectively, a female Birdon Paloma the lookout, a canine Tank Canid the muscles of the group, a Poppy Bro Sr. Azar Boomsleigh the explosives expert, a Cappy historian Jasper Shrooman, a chef Granny Ginger *Same species as Chef Kawasaki*, a robot PopTron 1992 *Or simply PT*, and their faithful companions Purrincess the Whiskers and Citrine's Croucars Valor, as they set sail on their flying aircraft, the DreamShip. Dakin and Grace fully support their daughter and her crew. *Set before the events of Kirby's Dreamland* --- How Knuckle Joe meets the Noblehearts, reunion with Ryo and Roscoe: *Present day* When Knuckle Joe got separated from his group by a snowy vortex after a tough fight against a powerful foe on Ice Island *They are on a journey with Kirby Peony, Ryo, Amethyst, and their friends on finding the amulet pieces that will stop Spectrine*, he was alone by himself and was already wounded from his fight, he fell into unconscious, but not long before Hans found him and brought him back to his home and nursed Joe back to health, where he also met the twins Thoma and Maya for the first time. In the morning, he also met Lori and learned of her sickness.
As Knuckle Joe bonded with the twins, he learns the family's connection to not just Ryo, but also Roscoe as well, which made him very suspicious. Joe, Thoma, and Maya later visited the twins' paternal grandmother Winifred and asked about Hans and Roscoe, revealing their past such as how she divorced her husband for putting his life at risk, and how she had raised Hans like this as well.
Joe later reunites with his friends and privately talked to Ryo about his family, including the real reason why his father won't let him go on his adventures and as well as his ailing mother, who wanted to see her son again. Ryo realized his father doesn't ever want to lose him nor his family. Joe would then reunite with Roscoe, who was investigating what was going on on Pop Star, as Ryo learns he's his long lost uncle he never knew he had in his life, as they convinced him to see his brother again as he missed him so much.
They would then protect the village from the third general of Spectrine's forces. After it was all over, the group meets the Noblehearts as Ryo and Roscoe reunites with them, after Ryo apologized for running away from home, Hans admits he shouldn't stop him from what he really wanted. Roscoe had this mysterious antidote he found on an unidentified planet *From Milky Way Wishes on Kirby Super Star*, which was given to his sister-in-law Lori, who is now going to recover from her illness. Kirby and his friends continue on their adventure afterwards. === Trivia:

Lori has a personal recipe for high quality hot cocoa, she taught it to Chione, and then Maya.
Dakin knows how to speak many languages, thus knows animal language. Something Plume inherited from.
