God, I feel such sorrow throughout all of this. Although, more pieces fall into place, with the eye of Preston watching Rolex; eyes always watching.

That last panel is freaking amazing; it's almost positive-feeling. It could've been a new start.

The eyes always watch! In the entire comic, we've seen eyes sneaking in the background. This time, it means so much more!

That last panel... if only he could've escaped it all. We'll see more in the last few pages.

Poor Preston. He would have been saved all that false hope if he had heard her last conversation... but then, knowing he was abandoned, might he have become even more irredeemably evil? Perhaps that false Hope was actually his salvation?
