:-)  love those little science-fiction bits. imagine how many centuries it will take,
in real life, for having a device that can write without a computer, or even batteries!   :-O

I heard there is this new technology underway called "printers". Apparently it is used to store files outside of a computer, and you can even view them without electricity?
But I'm not sure if it'll catch on...

oh, i've heard of it; having access to reading wherever you are; a german bloke called «guttedborg» or «gutenblargh» is working to something, i'm optimistic...

imagine the astounding wonders of to-morrow!

Well, I'm skeptical. After all, how are you supposed to spread these things around the world? Send it via cable? Then you still need a PC and can just send an Email! Or are you going to carry them around from place to place? Yeah, right. There is a limit to believable fiction.

:-(  yeah, i know, must be realistic. i dreamed of people able to carry, in some not-yet conceived way, TENS of all-identical written (by me) works, all of them produced in less than a moon... being known in far-away places, beyond the horizon...
better think to everyday low technology stuff. *returns to pollute inkbunny with blabber comments*

I hope she starts drawing!
I'd love if she had a book full of various Shen-Peen-drawings 😂

Looking at the ones in the story. These were very clearly knife-sharpened. No ferrules---possibly European, though it's uncommon to see those with square barrels (they look more square than hex). No box or banderoll---tied together with string (possibly twine).

Chippy approves. :3
