What worries me is that i can see you get a lot of "nice" comments in most of the arts you post, so this probably gives the message that everything is looking good, but honestly... most of the art looks really crude, man. Don't lose sleep over this but you still have much to climb, just don't get complacent, thats all i ask for.

Yep, need to get out of that comfort zone. I'll admit, for a long time I thought I was satisfied with where I'm at, but now I know I'm not. I'm gonna try to actually start taking risks again in the future.

That's a good idea, but I think in my opinion i love your artwork, this guy is just being some critic on it or something but I'll still love whatever you make, I do agree tho...try and expand your curiosity a bit, maybe try drawing on different platforms or something and seeing how it turns out

*one day, this orca was exploring a submerged ruin looking around, until he noticed an old spellbook that was water themed, and when he tried it he was able to use it very easily...as that was unfolding, charmy the charmander was also in the water swimming around nearby this ruin, however she wasn't paying to her own air supply as her face is deeply red...the orca could hear her gurgles which sound concerning*

Carefully holding out the book, the orca creates a slight current to flip through the pages, looking for a helpful, relatively inexpensive spell in case Charmy gets to the point where she's about to run out of breath.

Finding one that would let him combine bubbles into bigger ones, and deciding not to force Charmy to keep pushing herself, the orca slows down as he blows a cluster of bubbles from his blowhole, uses the spell to merge them, and makes a current push the bubble onto Charmy's head. "Breathe, you're gonna be fine!"

Rayquaza - "Uh uh uh, no covering your mouth!" *the Rayquaza makes it so Brent's flippers are taken away from his mouth and blowhole, then does the same with charmy's hands...by now they are really deep inside the ruin, the rayquaza's face is only a little red, but can last a while before really running out of breath*

Once Rayquaza is out of view, Brent swims to the cage's bars as bands of energy appear around his flippers again. With a quick gesture, a sudden current pulls the book close enough for him to grab, which he does before starting to look through it. "Th-there must be something we could use..."

"Because I know some of the magic from it... And it's how I'm getting us out!" Focusing on the new spell, Brent charges toward the bars again... And, just before he hits, he becomes colorless and mostly transparent as if he's made of water, easily passing between the bars before returning to normal. "I bet this book isn't even yours, what would someone that can FLY be doing with a water magic book!?"

"Good thing I was looking into some magic I could fight with too..." Jets of water shoot from Brent's flippers toward Rayquaza, and while they likely wouldn't injure the legendary, they'd almost certainly hurt.

Rayquaza - "Owww! Hey not cool!" *the Rayquaza charges a powerful energy beam and it hits Brent and charmy pretty badly, but that also wastes alot of the Rayquaza's own air, their face now visibly red*

Charmy - "Owwwie!!!" *charmy covers her mouth as her face is completely red too*

"Ablabalbalh!" Brent is now blushing as well, just not quite as much as Charmy. He glares at Rayquaza and fires off water jets again, managing to make more this time and trying to make them more forceful as well.

Rayquaza - "Owww!!!!!! Hey stop this at once!!!" *the Rayquaza's face is now turning slightly blue, whimpering slightly*

"Yeah! I need air!" *both Brent and charmy swim as fast as they can through the ruins, managing to find the way to the exit... just when they go through said exit, Rayquaza is back again...seemingly fine, he used the breathe underwater spell on himself*

Charmy - "Oh come on!!!"
