Life in Space, pic 4: Simple Drudgery

The Grav'y Train
set default image size: small | medium | wide
One of the least pleasant aspects of life in space: molds of unheralded annoyance will grow /everywhere/ if left unchecked. Here, Dee, in one of the most futuristic settings possible, surrounded by tech... gets to play old-fashioned washerwoman. She does have /some/ advantage from living in the future, by letting some of her prosthetics run under independent local control. She's adopted her rogue cybernetic hand (from https://www.furaffinity.net/view/6885206/ and https://www.furaffinity.net/view/7525273/ ) as a "pet", and it's doing its own part to help out.

Drawn by the iridescent Seth Triggs ( https://www.furaffinity.net/user/sethtriggs/ )

Dare I ask: does Dee ever refer to the rogue cybernetic hand as "Thing"?

Only if she wants it to do things to her while she's asleep - and not necessarily in the good way that line could be meant.
