Me and a few friends put together a gorgeous roleplay sim in SecondLife, we've been getting some traction and a LOT of people commenting on how beautiful the build is, so I figured it was time to post this here!
This is Tirna-Nog. Here, steam powered technology has recently been discovered, and it's development has been found to interfere with magic. While magic warps the laws of reality, technology is now advanced enough to anchor those laws, and relies on those laws. Magic has begun to drain from the world, but the mages and magical creatures wont die out without a fight!
Neither side is evil, and both sides have their reasons for the choices they have made. Magic is only accessible to those born with the talent, which makes it rife with abuses and dark magics like necromancy and curses, but steam powered tech pollutes the land and causes the fantastic and beauty that magic brings to die out, including healing magic and the unique creatures born of magic. Who will you side with?
