Golduck
The kappa pokemon

Unlike its Kantonian counterpart, Hisuian Golduck does not develop a gem to channel the latent powers of its pre-evolution.
Instead, it concentrates its energy within the skull, which deforms until it erupts from the scalp, that strings in skin curls resembling the algae of the marshes it inhabits. It ambushes Psychic-type Pokémons to devour their energy, and it is particularly found of Spoink's pearls.

I also had an idea to make Golduck look more like a kappa, but in my case instead of being a Hisuian variant it was one of the future paradox pokemon (when I was coming up with ideas for future pokemon that actually looked like evolved descendants of modern pokemon instead of robots) I also brainstormed a flightless version of Corviknight that was part posion, Tinkatons that developed a symbiotic relationship with Skarmory and used swords instead of hammers (since Skarmory naturally shed feathers) and I kept Iron Valiant except as a living thing instead of a robot.
