One of the winners of October 2023's sketch suggestions poll, Alopex as she might have looked if she was in the 1980s Ninja Turtles cartoon, along with what I think she might have looked like as an action figure. It all kind of clicked when I had the idea that she could be wearing a leotard. I gave her a flatter, wider head and more deliberately almond-shaped eyes and a cleaner looking face paint pattern that would be easier for animators to reproduce, and more pronounced claws on her feet, since that seems more retro to me. I like retro stuff and I like action figures, so this was fun and something a bit different.
I also did a color version more recently, although I went in a somewhat different direction with that one. I feel like this one does look a bit more retro but when I got around to doing the color version I was experimenting with some new style ideas and it ended up taking on a life of its own. I'm still planning on doing a color version of that retro action figure box, too. :3
