Its Loupys, Welofs, Wickys and Snows first day at school which means they go put in their sundays best, given their school cones and now proudly show that they arent babies anymore... just ignore any evidence to the contrary. ____________________
As a explanation/trivia: A school cone (Schultüte) is a german tradition for childrens first day at school. Its a often highly decorated (either bought or often selfmade by the parents/children ) paper cone that is filled with sweets, toys, school supplies and other gifts for their first day.
I got the idea for this picture when I stumbled over some old child photos of mine and Wickys cone and the Brezel Welof holds (which is another more regional tradition where I´m from) are partially based on the things I got on my first schoolday many years ago.

They certainly look adorable for the first day, but Wickys are the best. Her image sank right into my soul. I tried too, I spent too much time on it.
