Part Two: A Small Snack

Knuckles was eating some green grapes in the car along the ride. As he gobbled them down in quick succession Wade had remarked that the grapes were an odd choice for someone wearing white gloves and thus not having visible opposable thumbs. After this Wade asked when his training session with Knuckles would commence.

Wade then proceeded to ask Knuckles if there was some sort of manual or pamphlet he could use to learn how to train, to which Knuckles replied that the great Pachacamac said that 'one could not prepare for battle without knowing one's battlegrounds'. At this, Wade stated that Knuckles should get ready to see his battlegrounds while still referring to Knuckles as 'Knucklus Cage'.

Meanwhile, at the the Applebees, the two anthropomorphic aliens had walked inside the glass door. They were suddenly met with a crowd of taller humans waiting in the reservation booths area in order to receive their waitress for the day.

However, upon approaching the crowd the humans would they would notice the other humans sitting across on the waiting booths starring at them and proceed to turn around to see these small, alien like beings. This would cause a bit of uproar as the people in the crowd would see these freakish and bug eyed, animal like xenos stare right back at them.

"Whatcha looking at humans? Never seen a Moebian before?" the taller red haired vixen one said as she stared up at them.

To this some of the crowd would step back, quite frankly astonished that this being was in fact speaking fluent English and in an rather informal manner. The crowd would quickly swerve out of the way and even topple over onto the nearby lounge seats to gain distance as the two aliens seemed to pay them no heed and proceeded to walk up the three wooden stairs.

"Um, excuse me..uh..miss? Y-you need a reservation before you're seated" one of the humans males stated to them.

"Oh, don't I?" the larger redheaded vixen said before casually walking over to the handicap railing and slowly grabbing it before bending it with a startling amount of strength.

The human man could only shiver and watch in utter horror as this seemingly small fox like being in purple was somehow able to bend and twist a steel railing like a simple piñata balloon. To this they quickly shut up and instantly shook their head.

"That's what we thought, now outta the way humans" the shorter chocolate fured feline retorted as the two would proceed to walk through the isle and over towards the bar.

Knuckles and Wade Whipple had finally reached the bowling alley known as Neo Lightz Lanes. As Knuckles looked around at the people playing bowling ball he was utterly confused and asked if the place was indeed a 'place of battle'?

As the red echidna looked at people playing pool, a DJ playing some music, and others bowling. He would then remark that it appears as a playground for adults. Wade would try to convince Knuckles by reminding him that the quests that Knuckles generally was on were admittedly more high stakes. However, Wade assured him that many a battle have indeed been won and lost between these very bowling ball lanes.

However, it appeared as Knuckles looked around that he remained unconvinced. Wade then offered to show him and prove it to the red echidna. Later on, Knuckles and Wade were eating nachos at the food court of the bowling alley. Knuckles was so impressed by Wade getting a strike on the first time as the red echidna crushed the napkin dispenser in enthusiasm for Wade's triumph.

WHAM!

"Ha! You smashed those pins with no mercy. I'm beginning to understand why you show interest in this game" Knuckles told Wade.

Wade then told Knuckles that there was another reason that he showed interest in bowling in that Wade really bowls because of his father. However, Wade then would reveal that his father had abandoned him and his family at a discount department store. It was the only time Wade felt like he was together with his father was when he was bowling in between the lanes.

"So bowling is the thing that makes you feel at home in this world?" knuckles asked

"Yeah! I guess it is" wade replied.

"Oh, awesome! We got here just in time!" wade said as suddenly, a blowhorn would sound as the lights would dim the room.

He would then proceed to run off, leaving the red echidna rather bewildered as he rushed towards a doorway. However, the human would suddenly turn around and head back over to their food table before grabbing his bowling bag and ask Knuckles to accompany him with a simple 'c'mon!'.

Wade and Knuckles would then head over towards the bowling lanes as suddenly disco lights would play and disco music would be broadcasted through the speakers. This caused a rather groovy illumination in the bowling alley as people cheered. This, combined with the glow in the dark bowling pins added to a psychedelic atmosphere to the room!

"Amazing!" Knuckles let out.

"It glows with the power of a falling galactor star"

"Actually, I think it glows with the power of the laundry mat next door" wade remarked.

Wade would then take out a bowling ball from his bag. It appeared to be a dark azure ball with red flames. He would then proceed to hand it over to Knuckles who'd held it in his white gloved hand and surveyed it.

"Grasp it! Feel it's power course through your ginormous hands!" wade said enthusiastically.

"Take aim at your pin, and-!" wade only could let out.

CRASH!

Knuckles had in one fell swoop, tossed the bowling ball down the lane and within seconds he utterly shattered all the bowling balls!

"WHAT?!? We got to get you to Reno man! Wow! Jack Sinclair is gonna flip when he sees this! yes!" wade shouted in enthusiasm.

"It is nothing an apprentice such as you cannot achieve in due time" knuckles told him.

"You think I can do that?" wade asked with a bit of incredulous laughter.

"Thanks for believing in me, Knuckles! Most people think, I'm kind of a joke" wade told him.

"I do not make jokes, Wade Whipple. I make warriors" knuckles replied.

This heartwarming conversation would suddenly be interrupted by a golden power ring portal being emitted at the pin deck of the bowling lane. A zone tear from another zone would open up suddenly. Stepping forth from it was a very odd sight as Agent Mason and Agent Willoughby would march out of it, in some form of high tech loadouts of red glowing armaments.

"What devilry is this?" knuckles asked.

"Sorry, this lane is reserved" wade told the two interloping agents standing on the bowling lane.

"What's up, Knux. Heh heh heh" the man with the glowing red powerfists asked.

"Okay, so this is because Knuckles is grounded, right?" wade asked the two.

"Who's the idiot?" the male with the powerfists asked.

"Does it matter?" the female with the rifle replied before she took her energy weapon and fired it at both Wade and Knuckles!

"Get down!" knuckles said shoving Wade Whipple down to the ground.

Back at the Applebees the two women moved up towards the bar tables. The restaurant looked packed and most of the benches seemed occupied. So the two would casually stroll over to the bar and up to what appeared to be two drunken humans hunched over at the bar table.

"Alright humans, get out of here. These seats are ours now" the red headed vixen stated.

This would cause one of the men who appeared to be a biker to scoff at them with a laugh and slowly turn over to stare at the two. The drunkard couldn't believe what he was seeing, these two small animal looking female aliens were starring up at the seat at him! To this he could have sworn he's gotten too much today and he began to rub his eyes before blinking and letting out a laugh.

"What in tarnation are you freaks supposed to be? Some sort of trick or treaters? Halloween's come early!" the man said.

"Hallo-what?" the chocolate fured feline replied.

"Look kid, or whatever you freaks are. These are our seats, so unless you want trouble I suggest you scram" the second drunkard said as he took out a smoke before lighting it and tossing it down at them.

At this, both of the anthro looking aliens turned to face each other before shaking their heads. Suddenly the shorter feline's eyes would glow bright magenta again and suddenly it appeared some sort of glow around the cigarette would immediately snuff it out. The first drunk thought this was a mere hallucination however.

That was until the second, taller vixen's eyes began to glisten bright green and suddenly something even more bizarre would happen. Within seconds somehow, she appeared to be growing larger as the feline slowly stepped backwards. Within mere moments she was up to the height to literally stand at the bar!

She then leaned over before putting her hand on the wine glass on the table and with one grasp she crushed it in her hand, shattering the glass like it was nothing!

CRACK!

"Trouble is my middle name, human..no really it's Aria. Anyways, if you're trouble then I am going to laugh" the now taller and human sized vixen said to them with a glare.

"N-no, w-we were just about to leave, weren't we Frank?" the second drunkard said as their eyes widened.

"Yeah, we've had enough today anyways. Sorry to bother you two.." frank said as both the men would try their fest to quickly get off the bar seats and scurry out of the Applebees before paying!

"Good, now I'm hungry. Let's eat!" the now human sized redheaded vixen gleefully said as she would slowly begin to sit at the bar stool.

"Aight" her feline friend said as suddenly she would begin to lift off the ground and levitate up and over into the other vacant bar seat.
