Background/History
Kaiser's mother, Serena, died in childbirth, so his grandfather Rowan, who was an archaeology teacher at a local college, raised him. Growing up, Kaiser was a huge history buff, always getting an A+ in every history class. However, he would often be bullied just about everywhere he went, and more often than not Kaiser would end up in a fight, some of which ended very badly. His grandfather would frequently move him to another school, assuming he wasn't expelled first. As Kaiser bounced from one school to another, he never found his perfect fit. However, the one safe place he found was Taekwondo practice.
In High School, Kaiser protected a girl named Kiki from bullies, and later he invited her to Taekwondo classes. He took her under his wing and helped her earn her black belt. After that, the two would date frequently, and were also each others' first. However, this relationship didn't last long.
During Kaiser's senior year, his grandfather fell ill and was unable to work. Kaiser had no choice but to drop out of high school in order to find work, so he could pay off their debts. But one day, when going through old memorabilia in the cellar, he found a map leading to a treasure hidden by his ancestors. Financed by Rowan's old friend, a museum director, Kaiser set out on an expedition to find the treasure. Fortunately, he found it and sold it to the museum and it was more than enough to pay off Rowan's debt. Unfortunately, Rowan died soon after Kaiser returned home. To honor his memory, Kaiser became a professional treasure hunter, often going on more expeditions for the museum, and using the reward money to renovate the old house.
