So, I'm kind of surprised I haven't seen any fanart for this game.
Anode Heart is a little indie treasure that many might call a Pokemon clone, but it isn't. It's a DIGIMON clone. The creator has said as much; the inspiration was the first three Digimon World games for the original Playstation. In short, it's a creature collecting/taming/breeding RPG: you're an android who is tasked with befriending partially digital creatures called Tama and saving the world by battling them.
This is one such Tama. Her* name is Vixel. Isn't she lovely? Yes, yes, lookit the furry bait! Let it encourage you to purchase Anode Heart on Steam and play it for yourself!
*I'm referring to her with she/her pronouns, but no actual Tama you come across is gendered. My guess is that they're like Digimon in THAT way, too; some of them appear more traditionally feminine or masculine, but at the end of the day, they don't see gender the same way humans do. At the end of the day, the gender of every digimon is Digital Monster, so I suspect that the gender of ever tama is Tama. Felt like I should mention that, since it IS Pride Month and all.
