''Oh Diane my beloved friend...how much headache you give me! I know I'm the troublemaker of this coven but she dont see how much we worry about her! Diane is the oldest surviving member of our dilacerated coven, back in the castle she was the elder most involved in our daily activities and specially in the education of the younger sisters, she was a mommy long before she was pregnant.Back when I was a young initiate I used to look at her as a example, and the type of witch I wanted to be when I grow up...of course as I became a teenager we had a lot of attrition, I was rebelious and she was the figure of authorithy over me, but as adults we learned to respect eachother for the most part, we bicker alot but we love eachother.
Diane is a master in many magical paths, potions, divination, and even some obscure combat paths, these being the main reason she is alive currently, so why I worry about her so much?...well she is currently pregnant for a undetermined amount of time, after centuries of life she finally decided to have children of her own womb, back in the castle that would not be a problem, we had plenty of space and resourses to care for dozens of kids...but after the Order destroyed everything things got significantly harder, she was 8 months pregnant of triplets in the day we escaped, so to ensure her kids are not going to born on the road she is taking potions of delay, each one holding the babies inside her for at least 2 weeks, it is a safe technique, its the kind of potion passed from generation to generation for milenia, so for now she is permanently carrying the baby bump.
Which as you may imagine has it own set of complications, maybe if the bump was smaller she would have no problems, but its triplets! the massive belly made her slow and hard to maneuver in combat, not to mention it made her a bigger target...every fight we had my heart froze, she is by far our best fighters, the initiates can put a fight but she is our powerwouse, we could not win without her on the frontline, I can't describe the disconfort of seeing her dodging bullets and bolts in such gravid state! another issue we have with her is that she is always under the effect of the delay potion and a potion to ease the pain in her back, so her body is always dealing with a tangible amout of toxins...so if in any emergecy we need to apply other potion she can die of toxic overload!
I tried to convince her to birth her babies once and for all but its useless she is too stubborn! since I could not solve the problem this way I went after another solution and the gods gifted me Danadriel, now when the hunters come after us we have a ton of lycanthropic rage filled muscles to trhow at them! most hunters are just religious assholes that beat single mothers to death for fun...but sometimes among them are dangerous professionals with decades of experience in hunting, but now it dosent matter, our doggy happily dilacerate all of them equally! wanna know what the best part is? Danadriel and Diane bonded! turns out Danadriel had a kink for mothers all along, so when she sees Diane her eyes grow like a puppy seeing their owners, tell me its not a gift from the gods!
it's absolutely adorable to see that small fat pear shaped mommy being protected by the raging canine killing machine!...the problem is not solved of course, we still need a place to setle down and recruit more initates, but for now I can rest assured I did at least ONE good thing for this ravaged coven."
