The canon backstory of my characters has altered several times. The previous canon involved a depressed 22 year old Leon who almost committed suicide before he was whisked away by the loving Unicorn. That canon was WAY too sad to work on, so when my friend Yosh-E-O shared his own interpretation of how my Dragon and Nixie met, I fell in love with it and decided to make it the new status quo.
In this continuity, Nixie was an Equestrian Unicorn who discovered a rip in the fabric of time and space, and it led her to a pocket dimension that bent to her whim. She used it to construct a fabulous mansion to reside in, though felt lonely. Then one night, she had a very realistic dream.
In the dream, she watched a young teenage dragon play a video game by himself. The young dragon seemed quite sad and focused on his game, a fun little game about young animals just being kids. Nixie could tell from the young dragon’s eyes that he envied the young ones in the game. Nixie felt sad for the poor dragon and wish she could help him...
...And suddenly the young dragon found himself on the edge of her bed. Unsurprisingly, the young dragon was spooked, but the gentle embrace and comforting words of Nixie soon calmed him down. The young dragon, Leon, explained how his parents died, leaving him all alone. Nixie almost cried upon hearing this and was determined to fix that. She also mentioned his attraction to the young ones in the game he was playing and Leon admitted he kinda missed being a hatchling since he was so much happier as one.
Nixie became fond of the dragon and offered to adopt him. Leon was slightly hesitant at first, seeing as he just met her, but upon remembering how lonely he was before, he reluctantly accepted. Nixie’s first action was to prep him to become an “Eternal Hatchling” and quickly stripped the young dragon of his shirt and shorts, leaving him in his tighty whities. Nixie then realized she may have been a bit hasty as Leon seemed quite embarrassed and anxious from the action, so she chose to give him some time to get used to his new home. There was also the fact she had no diapers, so she needed to procure some.
She insisted he was fine in just his underwear and lead him down into the large living room. Leon was awed by the luxurious mansion. Nixie tapped him on the forehead with her horn and with a brief glance through his memories, she was able to pinpoint where she had pulled him from and she then cast another spell which pulled his TV and game console into the living room, much to his delight.
And so Leon laid there half naked as he played his games while Nixie went about some business of her own. Pretty soon, the unicorn returned, carrying with her a thick disposable diaper she managed to synthesize with her. Leon’s face turned red upon seeing it and Nixie asking him if he was ready to try on his new “underwear”. Don’t worry about Leon though, those undies of his will soon be collecting dust.
The game on the TV is a screenshot from “Little Gator Game”, a cute little colorful game. I did not make that screenshot and do not own that game.
