Character Description
A young coyote from Woodlands, Maya worked for the Gray family, until Master Gray's daughter, Marcee, ran away, then she got in trouble, despite having nothing to do with it. She eventually becomes the foster mom of Marcee and her sister Kristen, after her former boss gets arrested.
Personality
Maya's adventurous, inquisitive, and a hard worker. She's loyal to a fault, and will put herself in the line of danger for anyone she cares about. Despite that, she never wanted to do military service, or police service, she prefers stuff like housekeeping, gardening, that sorta thing.

Maya was born in Woodlands to immigrants from Earth, she went to school in Woodlands' public school system, and turned down a chance to transfer to Woodlands Academy for her high school years. After graduating she volunteered her time as a babysitter, worked at a day care for a bit, then moved to housekeeping. She was hired by the Gray family around age 23, and worked for them for several years. she was particularly close with the oldest Gray child, Marcee, and the only person that the young girl would open up to.
Maya was horrified by the abuse that Marcee suffered, and repeatedly tried to get her and Kristen out, to no avail. Marcee ran away after getting close to the Beringer twins, which left Maya as the full receiver of Master Gray's abuse, though she refused to leave because of Kristen. Eventually, Master Gray had enough of a breakdown, locked Maya in a room, and tried to off Kristen, until Marcee came in and found him. Marcee ran away with her sister, but was unaware that Maya was held captive. Fortunately for Maya, Master Gray was so furious he forgot about her. The following morning, Marcee, Annika, and Annika's mom Addeline, arrived, with police, to get Marcee's stuff, and they found Maya shackled in a dark room, which was enough to get Master Gray arrested, the Gray house repossessed, and Maya easily got custody of Marcee and Kristen as their foster mom, and she tries her best to keep them happy, while dealing with trauma, therapy, and PTSD for all 3 of them. Fortunately she is pretty close with the Beringers, so she has a decent support network between them, and their friend network.

Maya lives in Woodlands, Solara, Arcturus V. As such she is part of my Arcturean sci-fi universe in 2276.
Body
Maya's curvy, 5'3' with a rather large bust and butt, she has a bit of an hourglass figure. Her hair is wavy, black, and just past her butt when kept straight. She has patchwork markings of gray and reddish-brown across her body for her fur, and dark brown eyes.
Clothing
Maya prefers "sexy but casual" clothing. she likes longer skirts, and tops that show a bit of cleavage, as long as they're snug on her. She doesn't do loose fitting clothes, even for her nightwear. she loves her body and likes to flaunt it, though she does tone it down a bit after becoming foster mom to the Gray girls.
Nightwear she usually wears a snug-fitting cotton nightdress to her knees or ankles.
Accessories
Maya has her ears pierced, usually with a gold hoop in each ear, and she wears 2 gold bracelets on her right arm, a pink-banded smart watch on her left. She also has a purple headband with a pink flower she usually wears.
