I fell in love with the current trend of Sonic finding a quiet field or meadow to give birth so I thought I'd try out the same idea with Shadow! I think he would try to avoid doctors and hospitals because the medical setting would remind him too much of the experiments and tests he went through on the ARK and everything that happened there, also because he's stubborn and prefers to take on challenges alone to prove himself as The Ultimate Lifeform. He would pick a lavender field not only because they're his favorite flower, but also because he finds their scent comforting and calming.
