Interrupting my streak of months-old art to post something I made yesterday
This is my first full painting since January. I'm not proud of it. The colors are also not really pleasant but I tried changing them and nothing worked - I'm slowly learning to pick the colors myself instead of relying on filters and colorpicking. (I miss my style from 4 years ago, but I don't know how to go back to it. I remember thinking that painting was way easier than lined art due to the freedom it allows for defining the forms. I can't say I still feel that way.) This wasn't the easiest way to derust but it's been sitting on my desktop for way too long
I started playing Rain World back in March and it's both the most beautiful and the most frustrating game I've ever played. Here I drew the two squidcadas I befriended and carried around for half the map each during my first run. I'm already at 50 hours of play time and I plan to draw more fanart for the game, including my slugsona/ slugcat oc campaign
