Discovered hiding in the depths of a purely aquatic world, he eventually made his way to Earth so he could learn more about the tiny humans and their fauna. He prefers to live in the darker depths that remind him of home, but will venture out if needed.
Despite being blind, he can actually navigate even the smaller planet with ease, using pieces of his body like drones. These fish-like detachments use a sort of echolocation to map out their surroundings, reporting back so he can gather all the information to get a mental image of his surroundings. He also is very gentle, and tries not to use the hands under his veil-like fins too much, unless it's to save ships or deter submersibles. He can control the water around him to send away those that venture too close as well, making turbulent waters and throwing people off course.
